Ok. The old fashioned goulash reminded me of when I was a kid. And the half a club sandwich reminded me what quality meat and cheese taste like. Was an awesome lunch. My wife was excited to say the least. Would recommend this place to anybody wanting a homemade lunch. Always great !!
Jamie ordered a chicken salad sandwich. She took one bite and was certain it was tuna salad. I took it up to the counter, showed them, they said it sure looked like their chicken salad but got the chef to confirm. She confirmed it THEN to double confirm it, gave us a sample of the tuna salad. Jamie took one bite of THAT and decided she did indeed have chicken salad. What a GREAT solution to the quandary! The food was excellent, I had their loaded potato soup, which was superb as was their broccoli salad. Very charming place, gracious servers/hostesses, I'd go back for sure, there's other foods I want to try!
I love everything on the menu at Let’s Do Lunch! My favorites are chicken salad on their amazing sourdough bread, cornbread salad, strawberry pretzel salad, broccoli salad... I could go on and on. Like I said, I love everything on their menu! Great job Debra Hewitt!
It's sad when employees are not trained on polite, good customer service or when they just do not care. Our family stopped by today, looking forward to the good food and warm, southern hospitality that we'd read about. What we got instead was decent food (a couple of our orders were wrong), and disinterested, rude treatment from the two girls who were working the register. (My receipt says our server was Ellie E.) When we walked in, we didn't know we had to order at the register and then find seats on our own so we had to get a couple of menus and look through it. We clearly had never been there before and there wasn't a line of people waiting to place an order but neither Ellie nor the other girl next to her asked us if we had any questions about the menu. They seemed annoyed that we weren't ready with our order. (We had stepped off to the side and were sitting on the long bench by the entrance so we weren't in the way.) When we were ready, we went up to the register and I asked Ellie if instead of the ham or turkey sandwich from the kids' menu, could we instead order a plain cheese sandwich. Ellie answered, "you mean, not grilled cheese?" I said, "oh, I didn't know we could get a grilled cheese." She condescendingly answered, "it says so right there" indicating the menu i was holding, which clearly did not have grilled cheese listed as a kids' menu option. I showed it to her and she rudely said, "well, it's here", pointing to her screen, and proceeded to take our order. I ordered two chicken salad sandwiches on sourdough bread (she didn't bother asking which of the three kinds of chicken salad we wanted). When we got our order, my chicken salad was on white bread and my husband had a scoop of chicken salad instead of a sandwich. We didn't bother asking for replacements because we were hungry and we're sure we'd just get more attitude from the servers.
When we were leaving, the place wasn't busy at all. Ellie and the other girl watched us leave without acknowledging us in any way. No goodbye, no have a nice day, nothing. It was a very disappointing experience, especially after how we were looking forward to eating there. The food was good but not worth going back to, not with that kind of service.
I had high hopes for Let'S Do Lunch, but it fell flat. The coffee was lackluster, and the pastries were uninspiring. I won't be returning anytime soon.
Let'S Do Lunch at 435 Holly St NE, Decatur, Alabama 35601 is a coffee haven that you don't want to miss. The cappuccino I ordered was a symphony of flavors, and I could taste the expertise that went into crafting it. The café's minimalist décor and soft jazz music set the perfect mood for relaxation. If you're a coffee enthusiast like me, you'll appreciate this place.
I had high expectations for Let'S Do Lunch, but sadly, it fell short. The coffee lacked flavor, and the service was slow. It was a forgettable experience.
Let'S Do Lunch is a coffee lover's paradise. The single-origin beans are a testament to their commitment to quality. The baristas are always up for a friendly chat, making you feel like part of the coffee family.
I was excited to try Let'S Do Lunch, but it turned out to be a disappointment. The coffee was bland, and the pastries were stale. The prices were high for the quality they offered. I hope they can improve their offerings and service because I won't be returning.
The coffee at Let'S Do Lunch was a revelation! I couldn't get enough of their specialty brews, and the charming, rustic vibe at the 435 Holly St NE, Decatur, Alabama 35601 location added to the overall experience. I can't wait to return for more.
