Pleasant little Starbucks location, with an emphasis on "little". Place fills up quickly, so don't get your heart completely set on settling in there to enjoy your latte. Otherwise, a perfectly acceptable java joint.

I’m not the one to take the time to leave a google review but I do go to Starbucks almost every day out of the week. This location however is awful for one reason. I walked in a pale blue eyed blonde lady with a tattoo on her right arm who always wearing a black hat took my order. When I stepped up to the counter, she just stood there. No greeting or anything. She just said “yeah?” And so I gave her my order and then the money. When she handed me back the change some of the change fell and she couldn’t have cared less. She didn’t even say thank you or apologize for dropping the change. When the order came out, it tasted horrible. It was an iced white chocolate mocha and tasted like sour milk. I asked her kindly to remake it and she didn’t apologize or seemed concerned at all. She just rolled her eyes and walked away to remake it.... when she came back with the second try, I could already tell it was the exact same. I tried it and again it was bad. Now I have been to at least 10 different Starbucks locations across Birmingham and this is the only thing I order so I know what it’s supposed to taste like. I finally just took it up to the front and asked if I could have my money back. She looked at me with the nastiest face, and said “what’s wrong with it” and i said it just doesn’t taste right and wanted my money back. Another employee that just got off her shift was kind and asked what it tasted like and seemed genuinely concerned. Meanwhile that lady that made my coffee and was being so rude to me seemed uninterested. More than that she seemed annoyed and angry at it all. She said angeriy to sign the receipt and that was it. Now, with that being said, this isn’t the first time I’ve had a run in with this pasty pale blonde haired girl. I’ve seen her repeatedly be rude to other customers and has always been that way to me. Let me just say that if I ever see her in that Starbucks, I’ll turn right around and leave. If my review seems mean and insulting to her, it is. That exactly what she was to me and everyone else, mean and insulting. She should find a job that doesn’t involve people.

Staff is always friendly, accommodating and energetic. They always remember me and what I like to order.

It's a Starbucks. They have good fast service. My online/app orders are always correct and ready for pickup. I never stay sit around and chat, so no opinion on that experience

They have friendly and reliable service. The food has always been tasty. Of course, the drinks are excellent!

Wonderful care from staff. Make you feel welcome, loved, and special. Drink was made to order and right on time.

We frequent this location often. Effecient, clean, great service! They know how to have a remote order ready and waiting when you arrive. This is not the case at many of the other locations we have visited. So kudos to the Cahaba Heights Starbucks Crew!!!

The team here really puts an extra effort into making your day when you step in the door. I don't come to Starbucks for the excellent coffee, but I come to this Starbucks for the environment the employees present. Starbucks is not on my list of coffees in town that I go wild over. There are many local alternatives I'd prefer (taste wise). The fact is, Starbucks is convenient and quick and this particular location adds that missing element you look for in a neighborhood coffee shop. The people.
