Very slow service. I don't recommend this place at all and for an $8.00 hamburger you'd think the service would at least decent. Basically just a convenience. Also put lettuce on my burger that I asked them to leave off. Just a little customer service people....just sayin. Maybe the city will get those knuckleheads out of there. Not good for Railroad Park which is awesome.

Ordered chicken sandwich . They had no chicken. Ordered the deli sandwich club with ham , bacon and some type of sweet sauce ,sandwich thrown together on toasted bread very thin slice of meat & lots of run sauce did cut it or use tooth pick to hold it together. Bacon and pickle slid off when I tried to pick it up. I remember when the food was good & so was the service.

Conveniently situated in the center square of the park, the caf is a good place to grab a drink to soothe the palate or a few snacks to indulge in while enjoying Railroad park. They have both snack foods and smaller hot-food offerings on the menu.
Hours are extended on the weekends, so if you're out early you can grab a hot cup of coffee and take a stroll or grab a bench and watch the day come to life. Week day hours usually tend to get started around or after lunch and into the evening.
Majority of complaints from people at the park is inconsistent hour of operation and quality of food.

The staff were all nice, but there was so much disorder that the weight times were extremely large given how many people were in line. Plus the price was quite high given the wait time.

Took too long to get food after I ordered it. Also wasn't worth the money.

I had a disappointing experience at The Boxcar Café At Railroad Park. The latte was lukewarm, and the service was slow. It's not the kind of place where you can grab a quick coffee.

I stumbled upon The Boxcar Café At Railroad Park and couldn't have been happier with my discovery. The flat white was rich and velvety, and the barista's latte art added an extra flair to my morning coffee. The cozy atmosphere was the perfect backdrop for a relaxing coffee break.

Let me spill the coffee beans about The Boxcar Café At Railroad Park in Railroad Park Lake Path, Birmingham, AL 35233, USA. I was stoked to try their iced coffee, but it tasted more like watered-down disappointment. And don't get me started on the service; it was slower than a sloth on a Sunday. Not sure if I'll be back, folks.

I had a disappointing experience at The Boxcar Café At Railroad Park. The coffee was served cold, and the service at the Railroad Park Lake Path, Birmingham, AL 35233, USA location was lackluster at best. I won't be recommending it to friends.

The ambiance at The Boxcar Café At Railroad Park is enchanting. The dim lighting and vintage d√©cor create a cozy escape. The cappuccino was the perfect pick-me-up, and I'll be back for more.
