We stopped in today for the first time and truly enjoyed the pizza and staff! Great local place for great pizza!
We have been customers of Tomatinos ever since they opened. Tonight we went to there new location on Cloverdale Rd. Food and service were excellent. When we left the restaurant was full. Also the line for pick up was busy as well. Go see them you will be happy you did.
Tomatino's serves the best pizza I have ever had. The crust is heavenly, the sauce is delicious, and the toppings are ALWAYS perfectly fresh. I HIGHLY recommend this establishment - you will not be disappointed!!!
The ONLY place I will eat pizza in Montgomery. Fresh ingredients, tasty sauce, perfect crust - enough said! I have been eating at Tomatinos for as long as they have been open.
THE best pizza in the River Region, hands down. When you finish at Tomatino's go next door to Cafe Louisa and try their delicious desserts!
Loved the service, awesome coffee and eclectic atmosphere!
Love the food and atmosphere! My family and I have to drive 45 mins to eat here... worth every minute of the drive.
I’ve been coming here for years, absolutely love the pizza
It's without a doubt the best pizza in the River Region. The new location is so nice with the added seating inside and out. I highly recommend Tomatino's for anyone looking for good pizza and the rest of the menu is just as good.
I go at lunchtimes. I love to sit outside and listen to the music they play in the sunshine. The pizza choices are amazing, the toppings fresh and perfectly portioned. Service is fantastic and super polite staff. I just have a wonderful time every time I go.
Fresh ingredients, hometown flavor. Tomatinos is that funky little hole in the wall pizza kitchen with style. Eat in or to go, they make their pizzas and calzones to order so they are fantastic every time. Tomatinos is part of our family's birthday tradition!
Always great always great always great always great always great always great always great always great always great always great always great always great always great
Normally love Cafe Louisa. My favorite thing is the salted camel gelato. However was very upset when I went in there at 930 after a movie at the Capri and they refused to serve us because they had packed everything up which was not very nice since business hours stated 10pm as closing. 930 is not 10. That type of stuff puts a bad taste in my if you stop serving customers at 930 your hours should be listed as such. And instead of offering to take our order and just go get what we wanted from the back she basically kicked us out. Very disappointing when I come in to support a local business over a chain.
Cozy place to enjoy pizza, quick service, brought a couple of friends to try out Mediterranean pizza
Cozy little restaurant with good food. Always a good choice if you are looking for a casual spot for dinner.
Yesterday was our 1st visit. The service was very slow & the restaurant wasn't full. The server did apologize. The food didn't "wow" us, but it was good. I'm hoping it was an odd day. We'll consider giving it another shot.
Our service was POOR to say the least. I had to ask for lemon for tea three times. Waited nearly 50 minutes for the pizza. The waiter a young guy with a man bun who was “too busy” waiting on everyone but my son and I. I asked for a to go box for my salad he never brought it. After we eat were just sitting there while “ our waiter “ is waiting on EVERYONE else but us. Then a waitress comes by with the check after we asked her for it and a to go box and another guy returns my card with no pen to sign I eventually got up and got a pin off the bar kindly wrote on the ticket “NO TIP” “food pretty good but terrible service “!!!! I will not patronize again.
Food was good, not as good as when it was in the old location, Also they were out of Michelob ultra, Bud light, both types of fat tire, Stella, back forty, blue moon, Heineken and broccoli. That's it to my knowledge. I understand running a restaurant in this town is difficult, but when you are out of these items, just go to the grocery store, Sam's or Costco and buy cases of the beer your missing.
(Sorry for the lengthy-ness of this post, and I am aware that this second issue isn’t important or relevant to everyone.) The two stars are because the food is wonderful (except when to go salads only have 6 pieces of lettuce and chunks of onions) and the staff is very nice and hardworking. This is my first Facebook review ever... but, I think it’s ridiculous to have to wait for an hour when you are told 10 minutes. Yes, people sat for longer than expected and enjoyed their meal, which is great, and expected. And the staff apologized many times and did the best they could to keep us happy. But, there is SO much empty space that could be filled with tables. I understand that they are possibly understaffed, but still... lots of room for more tables. However, the most frustrating thing is that they don’t allow meat to be added to the house or garden salad. I’ve been getting these salads as an appetizer for years, but sometimes I want it as my full meal... with chicken. And I’m sure I’m not alone on this. This no adding chicken thing is especially annoying because there is a “funky chicken” salad that has chicken on it. And no, I don’t want to order that salad. I want the house. There is also a chef salad which is a “large house salad with meat,” and the meat is pepperoni and ham (I believe). There’s no substituting this selection of meat for chicken. Not sure I’ve ever been to a restaurant that has chicken on the menu and won’t let you add it to a salad. It’s even a “premium topping,” so why not charge the price of that? Very annoying. Apparently the owner won’t budge on this situation... but it definitely needs to change. We were told that this is a common request, but there not much they can do about it. Lastly, a friend went recently and the restaurant was out of the first FOUR beers they asked for. He had to go get a beer from Pine Bar. They were out of Pinot Noir tonight. I hate to have bad experiences here because Tomatino’s has been around for ages and is one of the few lasting restaurants in Montgomery. But the kinks have to be worked out. Ok, rant over.
