I don't understand the hype around Higher Grounds Cafe. The coffee was overpriced, and the atmosphere was uninspiring. Not worth the visit.

So, I stumbled upon Higher Grounds Cafe in 1 Airport Way, Gustavus, Alaska 99826, and their pour-over coffee was a revelation. Smooth, rich, and full of flavor. The café had this retro, 1960s vibe with vintage furniture and Motown classics playing. A groovy spot for coffee lovers.
