This is, by far, my favorite place to go in Ketchikan. I'm there every morning for the best cappuccino in town and every evening it's hard not to stop in for a drink or dinner. I've been loving the brunch menu and all the weekly specials as well. Raffy and Elizabeth are incredible business owners. Love this place and I love them!
This is one of the best places I’ve ever been. The menu is wild and consistently fresh, the staff are courteous and wonderful, and the owner is one of the most giving and fantastic people I’ve met in my life.
If you want good, unique, and fresh food in Ketchikan AK, I don’t think there’s anywhere better in this town than the New York Cafe.
This is one of Ketchikan’s truly special places, of which there is no shortage. If I’m having a bad day, I love being able to stop in for wonderful coffee and food since there’s a good chance I’ll see good friends and people I look up to while waiting. One or two quick conversations later, with some good laughs sprinkled in, and I’m ready to take on the world.
Also, the house-made tartar sauce is delicious and more than enough to make me forget about my lifelong disdain for tartar sauce.
The New York Cafe is my favorite place to eat and hang out, no question! The food is always great, there are new interesting specials frequently to try and they are always great and the regular menu items are all fantastic. The service is perfect with friendly professional staff. The owners are great people that I like and respect. Oh, and live music too! Thank you New York Cafe!!
So, New York Cafe in 211 Stedman St, Ketchikan, Alaska 99901 – it's a mixed bag. The chai latte was a flavor explosion, and the barista was a caffeine maestro. But the place felt like a library during finals week – dead silent. Bring your own conversation, folks!
