We were told to come here by one of the jewellery stores in the street. Boy, were they right!!

Great place full of warm atmosphere and amazingly tasty food. The BEST red potato and salmon chowder with mini cheese toasties. You should write a cookbook.

Thankyou so much. Wish I could say" see you again"... But we live in Australia. So I shall say thanks for the great hospitality.

Was just looking for a cafe with wifi to sit and hangout and found Sweet Mermaids along a row of way too many diamond sellers. Loved enjoying a mug of jasmine tea, the staff, the comfortable space and especially the $5 hour wifi!

This was my first visit and Andy was the barista, she and the rest of the staff was so friendly and provided excellent customer service! I had the merberger and it was outstanding! Great food, friendly staff and warm colorful atmosphere � I’ll definitely be coming back to this Cafe, it’s the best one in Ketchikan Alaska � and thank you Andy! 10 Stars �

This place is warm, inviting, and feels like home away from home. The staff treated us like family and the food was excellent!



We had the red salmon chowder, grilled cheese, and a delicious coffee cake for dessert. It was gone before I could think to take a picture!



I would recommend for anyone, especially if you're walking around the town fresh off the cruise ship. Wonderful wonderful wonderful!

This is one of my very favorite places in Ketchikan. I take all of my visitors there to try it out and they love it too!!!

These ladies are amazing! I called ahead to make my order and by they gave my an estimate on time and when I got there is was ready for me to pay for and take! Not to mention how delightful the meal was and filling, these ladies don't skimp! I love it!

The best place for breakfast in Ketchikan. Loved the lox & bagel!!!!

Nothing else like Sweet Mermaids in town; everything in and about it is 5 stars in Ketchikan. I highly recommend this establishment for the best spot for eats. The homemade soups are superb and so are the cakes and pastries.

Not only the best coffee in town but really good lunch. Try the lox bagel, it is fantastic. Soups are also very good.

I was arranging a birthday surprise of red velvet cakes on the Oosterdam cruise ship. I was unable to get to the bakery to pick up. I asked if they could deliver to the ship and hand them over to security at the gate. It was a lot to ask! But not only did they pull off the stealth delivery, the cakes were a huge hit with the birthday boy! Thanks guys!!

I have been to Alaska many times and Sweet Mermaids is a must for me. I had the Morning Sunrise and a gorgeous yummy cinnamon roll. The food is amazing. Fun atmosphere. Lots of hospitality.

From the first day their shop opened these ladies have provided top shelf goodies coffee and very creative lunch sandwiches, and soups and many other dishes. Their sweet smiles anyways have you coming back for more.

Every morning I get coffee I’m greeted by all the ladies here with warm smiles!!! They have the best customer service and customer relationships!



Today I was looking for their almond joy cookies, sad they didn’t have any, i requested some as they are my favorite. I was told hopefully by next Tuesday � Well, as amazing as these ladies are, I got the best surprise this afternoon! My cookies!!!



Thank you all ladies, this will be my coffee shop from here on out!

Debbie, Shirley and the rest of the staff are just amazing people. Fantastic place and the food is just awesome. Sweet Mermaids is the one "mom and pop" place that treats you like family all the time.

Best place ever to eat breakfast and lunches. I visited for 5 days and it was beautiful out
