Triple J Bakery Espresso Cafe & Gifts Description

Welcome to Flantastic Cakes and Catering! Flantastic Cakes and Catering, LLC began as a dream of its owner Jessica McGuire-Spence while living in Miami, Florida. Jessica has ran a successful Bakery and Catering business in both Florida and Georgia. Now that her children are all located in Alaska she decided to pack her mixer and baking pans to return to the Mat-Su Valley as well. Alaska is home now to her entire family and she is happy to be back in the beautiful Matanuska Valley. Jessica does want to share all of her culinary talents and skills she has learned during her travels as well as from her heritage with her old and new friends in Alaska.

The name flantastic came about after Jessica developed her recipe for Flan Stuffed Cupcakes and her son, Ryan called them, "FLANTASTIC" There is nothing like these cupcakes anywhere. They come in all different flavors of flan and cake. Flan is a milk and egg custard popular in Latin cultures. Jessica first learned to make flan from an elderly Cuban friend she met while living in Florida. She has since placed her own twist and flavors on it! It is FLANTASTIC! ! !

Cupcakes however are not all that is served up by Jessica and her team. Flantastic Cakes and Catering, caters large and small events, providing everything from the appetizers to the desserts!

My visit to Triple J Bakery Espresso Cafe & Gifts was a mixed bag. The cold brew was fantastic, but the pastries were a letdown. They need to step up their pastry game to match the quality of their coffee.

I stopped by Triple J Bakery Espresso Cafe & Gifts for a quick caffeine fix, but the line was long, and the service was lacking in efficiency. It's not the place for a hurried coffee stop.

I had high hopes for Triple J Bakery Espresso Cafe & Gifts, but the coffee was mediocre at best. The prices didn't justify the quality. I won't be returning anytime soon.
