Good coffee, nice relaxing place to hang out, very welcoming and unique! I love the games they have upstairs. Really great coffee date!

Solid local coffee shop. Serious about their drinks. Excellent espresso, good temp and microfoam on the milk. Comfortable, funky atmosphere to hang-out, work, write. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Very cool lively coffee shop. Upstairs is an awesome sort of cozy log cabin in the woods feel that is throughout the shop. Really good coffee at reasonable prices with friendly staff.

Made a pit stop here while on my way moving cross country. I knew this place as "The Safe House" while growing up in Tucson. I'm really glad to see that the vibe is still alive despite the change of name and owners. The coffee is still as good as ever. Makes me want to stay in Tucson a few extra days for that alone. Though the random people that you can meet here are awesome as well.

Always crowded until closing as far as I've seen.
Great rotation, lively crowds, staff is knowledgeable and helpful.
Parking is somewhat of a mess, but it's Speedway... so it's expected, but be prepared to either drive through a dirt alleyway on your way out, or to go the wrong way through a parking lot getting out.

Used to be the Safehouse, and it still offers the hospitality, relaxed environment, cozy facility, and the warmth that only a solid brew of coffee can offer. Their been changes monthly and sometimes even have the previous months blend, if you ask. Cool upstairs area, patio, and local bulletin keeps the vibe intimate yet private if you just want a drink and work on you laptop.

I've been here like everyday since this place has opened. I think I can count on 2 hands the amount of days I haven't been here since its opening. I am 100% dedicated to this place. Black Crown features the best and most original coffee based drinks in Tucson.
The baristas are my favorite people in the world, the owner is an incredible person. I dont know what I'd do without this place.

The indoor setting is super cool, as they have an upstairs seating area with a cool view.

The coffee was phenomenal. Loved the bold flavors. Unfortunately I don't live anywhere near, so I'll just have to dream about visiting again.

Cool place. Tried the iced coffee drink called a "tarheel" was awesome. Way different and unique coffee flavor. I will be back here again.

Update. Hadn't been here in a year. Had medium roast Guatemalan coffee black. Good flavor and hot.

Great atmosphere but not much parking. Baked goods are a bit expensive too but they offer a military/veteran discount so that makes up for it. Great coffee, nice place to grab a cuppa.

This a fun little hip coffee shop to hangout at. They don't offer much in the way of food but have a few little snacks. There's also a cool little loft you can sit at with a bunch of board games.
