Reviews
I came here pretty excited, you know reading the reviews and all.
The parking lot is really small in front but there are more in the back. The ice cream shop is shared by a restaurant which is called the Windsor.
The decoration is really beautiful and feels just like those old candy shops where they have sweets everywhere! Anyways I started sampling ice creams and they were just okay. Surprisingly I really didn't like any of them. They were creamy, sweet but the flavor just really wasn't there. There was no uniqueness about any of the flavors.
I did get candy corn ice cream and even though it was good, it got boring after the first few bites. I understand everyone's fascination with this place so I am definitely in the minority but I really didn't like this ice cream shop as much as I thought I would
Churn offers a fun experience of fresh made ice cream, rotating flavors, and friendly staff. In addition to ice cream they also offer a selection of cookies for an ice cream sandwich as well a variety of candy. I've always been happy stopping in to Churn for a quick sweet treat. I'm particularly a fan of the double chocolate ice cream.
Churn is my favorite place to get ice cream in Phoenix. It's a small shop and can have a line, but the wait is worth it. The ice cream is great and the cookies are awesome. I love the happy guy behind the counter who is always excited to serve you. He's part of the great experience!
Great spot to grab some dessert. The staff is always fun and friendly. The ice cream is amazing.
Great flavors. Tons to choose from. All kinds of desserts and novelties. Only downfall is there is not much room to sit. Plus it's outside. Other then that, great flavors and choices .
Quaint little shop with awesome homemade ice cream. Shop is small, parking is limited but always busy with standing room only crowd. I was lucky and got their when they opened, beating the crowds. Wife and I tried 4 flavors of ice cream. All were awesome, smooth and delicious. Highly recommend you try it. 4 stars only because of parking.
This ice cream is amazing! I do wish they had a bigger variety of flavors, but they make up for it in fun concoctions like my favorite-- the Cherry Cola Float. The line out the door on Friday and Saturday nights is well-deserved.
Churn is a great place for dessert. Their ice cream selection is limited, but creative at the same time. They have an assortment of dessert options and many feature a unique flare. The best, in my opinion, is the cookie sandwich. You pick the cookies and ice cream making it even more enjoyable. When visiting during the evening, expect a line. But don't let that discourage you - the staff inside works extremely fast to get everyone moving quickly all while being cheerful.
Really friendly staff, ice cream flavors were good, and they had a couple of unique flavors. I was expecting a few more flavors though.
Hands down, the best ice cream shop in Phoenix! Located right next to the Windsor restaurant and actually connected to it. Plenty of parking and inside is small but the menu is not. Ice cream...vietnamese coffee is my fave! Cones or cups. Their own blizzard type desserts hand made. And their floats...oh my...oh my affogato is fantabulous served with a mexican coke.
Such a fantastic place to take our young boys - delicious treats for all ages but my favorite part is the small toy they add on top of the kids' cones and cups.
Love the Ice Cream Cookie Sandwhich, I recommend the Salted Chocolate Chip cookies with peanut butter and double chocolate ice cream. Decadent and delicious. You won't want to share this treat but it's certainly big enough to share.
