Fantastic food and atmosphere. So glad we just stopped in. Best food in a long time. Certainly going back soon.
Good food and interesting art on the walls & jewelry in the cases. Very busy and fun place to meet & visit with friends & acquaintances. Art by local artists.
One of my favorite restaurants ever! Love going on Sunday for the Eggs Benedict. Best home fries hands down. Service is always great too!
Upon entering Claire's, I felt immediately welcomed and comfortable. And entertained by the amusing, tongue-in-cheek signs. The intricate fused-glass art was of museum quality, and I liked the home-crafted items as well as the more folksy art. Claire herself invited me to sit and relax. A surprisingly good selection of vegetarian options made for a longer decision process: a good problem to have. I settled on the avocado melt, with perfectly ripe avocado and fresh tomatoes, and a nice hot coffee. it the spot! On the menu were a couple of entrees I've never seen before in a commercial restaurant, but have often cooked myself from a generations-old recipe. As for cooking cred extraordinaire, Claire was chef at the venerable Blue Willow, my favorite haunt in Tucson. a generation ago. What a gem to find in Catalina!
Great food with an artsy/diner atmosphere. The menu is definitely a step above your regular diner food. The service is on point and you can often see Claire herself floating about and greeting everyone as though they were guests in her home. Try the breakfast quesadilla!
Love this place for home cooked food and friendly staff. Was really crowded when we came for a Sunday morning breakfast. Says everything. Very popular with Saddlebrooke locals.
Claire's is one of the best breakfast and lunch restaurants that I have ever experienced anywhere. I feel so fortunate to have such a fine place within 30 minutes of my home. Claire's deserves 6 Stars, not merely 5.
Claire has a long history of providing gourmet quality food. Try her Blintzes and they will rock your world. The homemade biscuits, a meal in themselves, are fantastic along with her special gravy. It's also an art gallery in disguise, with wonderful art spread across every inch of the various rooms' walls. Claire is a jewelry and mineral specimen expert as well as a fine chef, so plan on investigating some amazing jewelry and semi-precious stone artwork as well. She has created a place that will certainly make you want to return as soon as you can. I do as often as I can.....
I went twice in one week, because it was so nice. The first time, I had fluffy and moist banana oatmeal pancakes. My son had some very flavorful latkes (I had a taste.) For lunch I had wonderful beef steak skillet with a salsa. The giant biscuit was fresh. Even the coffee is the best. The service is great. I like that this cafe is close to Catalina State Park.
Food is good but the inside is a bit dirty and odd. Needs updating.
Great food. Lovely staff.
Quant little breakfast stop and awesome service. Makes you feel like your home.
A nice quiet little piece of home cooking.
