So its been hmm.... about a year since our last Dulce del Barrio Underground Café. And what a year it has been!
We opened Café Botánica at the Tucson Botanical Gardens, and have been cooking up some great local food. So I think we are ready for prime time, and are hoping that you all will come out and give us a try!
We are open for Botanical Garden members everyday from 8-2pm.
... Special summer hours for non-members to get in to eat and cruise the gardens without paying admission:
Early morning sunrise in the Desert 6:30am-7:30am The garden is amazing at this hour. You can get onto the grounds at 6am and take a morning stroll. We open at 6:30am with some great breakfast food.
Monsoon Dinner 5-8pm every Thursday night. The menu changes every week, and this is our opportunity to explore the Farmer's Market and try some fancier stuff.

Well, it's happening THIS Saturday. We still have a few openings that we would love to have filled with adventurous souls! So give us a call 488-0869, ask questions, make a reservation. If we haven't already made it clear: It will be a spectacular night, savored over and over in your memories. And, it looks like we will have a monsoon show to add to the flavor of the evening. Thanks much to all you that are liking us, sharing us and making those reservations
We are getting to the deadline and still have a few spaces that we need to fill! If you are sitting on the fence, trying to decide, wondering if you are up for it, well... I promise this will be like nothing you have done before. Even if you joined us a few years ago for our inaugural performance, this will be new and exciting. Who's cookin' you ask? Long time friend, chef, creative genius Chris Alvarez is sharpening his knives and getting the creative juices flowing. I am trying to be inspirational and get all the crazy details like "social media" flowing. The evening is promising to be magical. Well... Here it is... the Menu for July 6th. If you don't recognize the dishes, well... they are new, never been done before (as far as we know) and absolutely delicious (we know this because we are making trial runs as we write). We want to spark your interest, get your appetite up, but not give away the evening. If you are worried about food allergies, you can leave us a message (488-0869) and we can go through the menu ingredients with you. Hope you can come!
