Amazing place. Huge selection of beer and wine. Pizza is to die for. Try the hot toddy, sounds weird tastes amazing!
This used to be a favorite place to go at its original location. I like to support independents but I don't think I'll go back. It has steadily gone down hill. The beer list is impressive but the service is deplorable! I look around and see a lot of young employees mainly just socializing with the people sitting at the bar. So, they were staffed which makes it inexcusable that we had to leave our table to go to the bar to order a drink....and they got the order wrong even at the bar! Wanted to order dinner, but no one asked! How sad is that!?! I and my friends won't be going back! I won't recommend to others. The last three visits were exactly like this one. Sad!
Hands down best coffee in the Southwest valley. All regular coffee is French press. They also roast their own coffee. They also have a good wine and beer selection and have great food, especially their pizza. They use 00 fine Italian flour and cook using the proper temperatures of over 800°F in a brick oven. Since Sal's Tuscan grill isn't hitting the required temperatures to properly cook 00 flour pizza we've been coming here and they have yet to screw this up so 5 out of 5 stars!
Best tap list and to go beer in the West valley. Pizza was tasty, but a little too cheesy for me. Service and flavor keep the five 🌟 rating
Great beer, poor service and poorly prepared food. I want so much more for this pub, but we've tried three times the food and service has been wanting. Yes, a great place for beer, very knowledgeable and great selection, but that is all.
I was out visiting Peoria artisan Brewery in Litchfield Park and stopped into Ground Control for my second time. First time was strickly for a growler fill, and they have plently to choose from, with rotating handles and always something new. 12 West from Peoria was the spotlight brewery on this trip, and the servers were offering samples of many of their beers. All in all a class operation!
They have all different kinds of meals for everyone. Good selection of beers and different breweries on special depending on the day. Would recommend . Great food as well!
5 of us went there on Saturday afternoon ready to eat good food and enjoy a cold beer. It was my first time there and I doubt we will go back. It was busy which I believe is normal for a hot Saturday afternoon. We sat at a dirty table (it's open seating), the only one free to fit our size. I noticed they were busy so I cleaned up the table with spilt water and a napkin. No big deal. I don't mind doing that. BUT! We sat at that dirty table for about 7 minutes without any recognition from the wait staff. It seems like the 2 waiters were too busy/overwhelmed to even smile at us. They were under staffed and inexperienced. So disappointing. We ended up going to Reds at the Wigwam which was a delightful experience!
They offer the best beer available on draft. The staff is amazing and although the service isn't always rated "top notch" in the traditional sense. They more than make up with it by the relationships they are able to create. This place is the definition of a great local business.
The coffee is so smooth. It literally makes a well-known known but shall remain unnamed chain taste like battery acid. Have had both breakfast and lunch here several times. The homemade muffins are fantastic. For lunch, the tacos, pizza and salads are all excellent choices. The chef uses local ingredients, which we are big on. The general vibe of the place is very laid back and easy to relax in. Exposed ceilings, huge salt water fish tank (kinda random, but sure, why not?!), booths straight out of a 70's disco joint surrounded by random tables... love it!
This is a very good place to try new micro beers. There is always a wide selection of the best brews around. I'm not a wine guy but there is also a big selection of wine as well. There is also a brick oven for their pizza and they also have good gelato!
I was pleasantly surprised to find this place still standing, we came here a few times a couple years back, but was disappointed this time because the service was extremely slow although there were hardly any other guests present. We came by to have some coffees and maybe a treat, we ended up only having one cappuccino (which was delicious but got cold really fast) and a giant cookie w/ vanilla ice cream (also tasty) we only had one cappuccino because the server took too long to check on us or a refill and we had to leave. I'm not a huge fan of their interior/atmosphere but would like to check it out one more time in the evening or during a tasting event.
Great rotating tap list, decent prices. Haven't tried the food but have heard good things. Employees are very friendly
Great coffee and beer. Terrible service. Everytime I come in to get some work done in the morning, I grab my coffee at the front, am told to go grab a seat to order food and then i am ignored for the next two hours. I think in the 30 times I've been there, maybe twice has a member of the wait staff come by to see if I need anything. No eye contact, no acknowledgement. I have to flag them down or go over to the bar to get service of any kind.
Friends that frequent this place say they have the same problem. The staff needs basic service training.
