Stayed at the hotel and gave it 5 stars. However, I wish I had not eaten at this restaurant. I ordered a steak and my girlfriend ordered a salad with chicken. 45 minutes later, we realized we still hadn’t received our food, nor had the server notified us of any delay. The restaurant was less than half full. We got up and asked the hostess if our order was put in. Five minutes later the manager served our food. The salad came without chicken and I had to ask the server for a steak knife when she finally came back. The manager never returned. They offered free dessert, as expected, but we were on a schedule and didn’t have time. They didn’t offer any other compensation. Besides the cool atmosphere this restaurant is a total bust.
The atmosphere is beautiful, but service ALWAYS falls short. I keep coming back because the spot is beautiful. I just wish the service would tend to customers faster. I can sit here all day without being acknowledged. They refuse to clear any old dishes/glasses until you ask.
Love the outside patio for drinks and appetizers and string guitar!
Fantastic place. Great food.
This was the single worst dining experience I have had. We were told that the buffet came with the breakfast items on the menu, so we got the buffet and she pointed us inside. I went to the cook inside to order Huevos Rancheros and he said I had to order from the server. I had let the server know I was interested in them at the time I ordered, but she neglected to tell me I had to order from her. I couldn't find my server anywhere to order, so the cook very annoyed said he would place the order for me. When I sat down, the server finally came by and I had 2 things to say to her, but she barely let me finish my sentence and walked away to take care of my first issue. She walked by 5 minutes later and I said excuse me, but she kept walking. I finally grabbed any person by me to remove the chair covered in bird poop from my table. Finally my Eggs came and they were gross. 1 egg in tomato soup and a soggy corn tortilla - not worth $5 let alone $25! Not only that, the server came by to scold me for not ordering from her - RIDICULOUS! Our server disappeared for the remainder of our time, and I had to find another server to bring us our ridiculous $50 bill for 2. There was no pride in work by anyone working at all and it showed in the service and the food.
Pleasant service, very attentive waiters, brunch selection has more variety than any other place in Phoenix. We keep coming back here every year!
I ordered the whole grain salad. Good stuff. Quinoa and the rest were good and the chicken is lightly seasoned to give it some extra flavor. What was actually awesome was their pulled pork soup which I actually stole a bite (then many more) from my wife. Wow! I would eat that soup every week!
Warning though, we came in during lunch rush (1pm or so) and it must have taken 35-40 minutes to get our food. This place was packed and you could see that the food was coming out as quick as it could, but it's going to be a wait!!!
Used to love it, but they need to change up the menu. Seems like it's boring, and that the quality is down a bit. Still a nice looking place. Great when the weather is nice though.
I couldn't be happier with my experience at Rita'S Kitchen! The friendly barista recommended a delightful latte, and it exceeded my expectations. It's become my new favorite spot, and I can't wait to try their pastries next time.
Rita'S Kitchen has become my daily ritual. Their espresso shots are a burst of energy, and the 5402 E Lincoln Dr, Scottsdale, AZ 85253, USA location's ambiance is the perfect backdrop for catching up on work.
