Convenient location to get coffee and donut for $2. Donut is extremely fresh at 6am and many flavors of coffee to choose from. Don't forget to use the 7-Eleven App, your 7th drink is free. Staff are fast and friendly

Out of the possibly hundreds of 7-11's I've been to in my life and all over the country few things surprise me.

Pros: Redbox, cheaper cigarette's than most convenience stores from other parts of the county, very friendly staff, nice and cold store temp.

Cons: Deep into East County and not as visible (you will see the sign, but not know where exactly it is), no gas station, not the greatest parking situation due to cross traffic. Not that great a selection of newer drink options, not as stark in brightness of lighting as I'm used to.

The store is about average if your comparing to the older generation of 7-11's with the crappy brownish tile versus the newer suprbreight one's all decked in fluorescent lights and shiny fixtures. It's in a pretty good spot close to neighborhoods, schools and restaurants versus being stand alone. Chula Vista/Otay/Eastlake isn't a big hub for testing so I didn't see anything I'd never seen before. Come for the service and selection, not the size or amenities, except for the double wide redbox.

Prices are par for the course of every other 7-11 in San Diego.

7-Eleven was a letdown. The iced latte was watered down, and the pastries were dry. Won't be returning.

I stopped by 7-Eleven for a quick caffeine fix, but the long line and slow service tested my patience. It's not ideal for a rushed coffee stop.

If you're ever in 913 Otay Lakes Rd, Chula Vista, CA 91913, USA, make sure to hit up 7-Eleven. Their mocha was like a party in my mouth with chocolate and espresso vibes. The café had a relaxed, laid-back atmosphere with mismatched chairs and indie tunes playing. Perfect spot to chill with your brew.

I swung by 7-Eleven in 913 Otay Lakes Rd, Chula Vista, CA 91913, USA and grabbed their house blend coffee. Let me tell you, it was the bomb! The place has this cool vibe with indie music playing, and the baristas are like coffee wizards. Total win!
