Well done, you can taste the bread - BBQ pork - almond - veggies.

They make the best charbroiled pork banh mi (#8). The peanuts make a world of a difference. Also family owned and super friendly service.

The best banh mi ever! Good service and price!

The sandwiches here are cheap and yummy! The fried eggrolls are really tasty, too!

Best banh mi I've tried in Los Angeles, yes there is better bread out there but overall no one comes close. Also add egg for 1 dollar more its worth it but make sure its over easy.

Been coming here for over 12 years. Solid Banh Mi spot. My favorites are the Charbroiled Pork and Chicken. Can't beat the price. I like the bread better at some other spots but it's still very good being nice and light with a crisp crust. It's gotten a lot busier over the years.

After almost 20 years, this place still rocks and is my favorite go-to place for a great banh mi sandwich at a great price.

Same family owned, which makes it even more special. Parking is decent and never too crowded but this place is small so expect a crowd during peak lunch hours.

Their prices seem to have gone up... Still good sandwiches, and let's be real, $4 for a sandwich is not expensive. Bread is nice and crispy as well. I always get the grilled pork. I've had a few banh mi places, but this is always the one I go back to. Lady at the counter is very nice as well. Cash only.

This is my first time here and the rating is specifically for the vegetarian ham sandwich. I was told the ham is made of tofu but it looked and tasted like ham. I did skip the mayonnaise, which made the sandwich dry. This vegetarian ham sandwich is just okay. I've had better real tofu veggie sandwich elsewhere and this is not what I expected based on the great reviews. Perhaps the meat sandwiches are better tasting.

By far still my favoritest sandwich place in all SGV. I discovered this place back in the early 2000s, the good old college days. Even after all these years, still holds a special place in my heart.

Yes, menu is limited, but sometimes you don't need a whole dictionary of menu options. This place knows what they are good and stick to it. The menu hasn't changed at all through the years and neither has taste. The prices have gone up slightly , but what place hasn't. The owner has remained the same and so has the store front look. Why change if it isn't broken right?! Affordable prices, filling, and delicious as always.

Don't lose out on this deliciousness by mistakenly judging a book by it's cover. Some of the most delicious meals come out of this hole in the wall sandwich shop!

The best banh mi in the whole 626 area! He smart and call in your order ahead of time! There is always a huge wait especially weekend mornings

This is simply the best Banh mi in SoCal. Order ahead to avoid the wait. This place is worth the extra drive for all the great home dishes. No place to sit, you just have to take home or eat in the car, but worth it.
