It's a good place with fresh coffee. But the service is lacking. A few weeks ago, a guy ahead of me in line bought over $400 worth of beverages for a construction crew. There was something else he wanted that they didn't have. The BB guy at the counter said that he should try the uptown location. The customer asked for the phone number, and the BB guy said he didn't have it and that he (the customer) should Google it. I found that pretty absurd given the order this guy just put in.
Absolutely outstanding coffee! Very nice staff and truly the best coffee I have ever had.. and I drink a lot of coffee.
Food and coffee wise, the place is pretty good. It is small, standing only inside, and some seating outside. I suggest just grabbing something to go and take it to waterside to enjoy.
Pending on what time I'm the day you go, you might want to be careful. It is in a warehousing district so you will be be trying to avoid workers loading/unloading in the early morning as you try to drive to the place.
Best coffee ever and I'm not a coffee drinker. i don't care that another company is helping just as long as I can get a cup of coffee or tea. The people who serve are the greatest so no complaints here. Thank you guys for a great day!!!!
Blue Bottle rocks, this particular location does not. The staff isn't helpful, they don't offer any suggestions nor do they seem willing to offer more than a yes or no to any questions you have. Bicycle coffee next door is much more helpful and much less pretentious.
Wanted some good coffee in the morning. Was near Blue Bottle. The place has no indoor seating, only outdoor seating. The place is really clean and minimalistic. I ordered a low acidic coffee and ham and cheese sandwich. I was offered one of their cans of iced coffee grown by one bean variety. The coffee was fine. It wasn't too acidic. However, the sandwich was only ok. The bread was very dry. I would give this place 3*, but add .5* to a total of 3.5*.
The perfect place to go if you want a 75% Milk to 25% coffee ratio for your cold brew.
Blue Bottle is a place of excellence, or at least that was what I thought. I went to the headquarters yesterday expecting to get myself an espresso. When I arrived there, the line and the weight were so long that I almost gave up having my coffee. When I finally ordered my espresso the barista did not tamp the coffee very well which led to a under extracted cup of coffee. They charged me $3.50 for a single espresso. That is overpriced. Because of my experience, I would gladly say, that I'm not coming back there again.
Love this spot in waterfront/wharehouse area of Jack London Square. Great range of coffees, friendly staff and corner location promise a fun or relaxing visit. Nice spot for a post run coffee.
Great coffee and a must-try if you're visiting Oakland or Jack London (if nothing else to say you've tried it).
The great coffee to grab and taste. The smell is so good. The first taste is comfortably bitter and then
it's like little chocolate sweet. 推荐
This is my favorite blue bottle location. They do all of the roasting for the bay area. The brand served and for sale in bags are rarely more than a couple days old. They also have a teaching room where they offer free public cupping and other instructional classes.
Bicycle down the street is my favorite but I stop by here for variety. Good food coffee service. Overall vibe is a little antiseptic for my taste but the people are very nice
