What a wonderful addition to Ventura. Breakfast, lunch and soon to be dinner offered in a warm and inviting ambiance. Whether you are in need of a coffee or tea pick me up I challenge you to resist the temptation laid out in the bread and pastry displays or the open kitchen where the chefs work their magic for your enjoyment.

Try it once and you will return again and again.

What a wonderful addition to Ventura, will definitely be a frequent stop for me. They are continuall baking pastries, muffins and bread while you sip your beverage of choice. Prices on fresh paves of bread are very reasonable. First time visitors need to be aware you need a code for the restroom!

Went today with my daughter and some friends and it was AMAZINGÿ¢§ Like hands down the best Cafe I've ever experienced! My little one enjoyed the chocolate croissant and I had the potato and leek soup with an English muffin. Delicious food and a very nice atmosphere. Beautifully done all the way aroundÿ¢§

Since going to Paris and eating some of the most amazing pastries I have struggled to find anywhere in California that holds a candle to how amazing they were, till now. The croissants here took me back to Paris in just one bite. So amazing!!! I cant wait to try everything on the menu!!

Love the place! Pastries were delicious and my Latte was perfect! I've been wanting to try this spot since before it opened! Glad I finally did, it's very clean, open and bright. The staff was very nice as well, I can not wait to go back!

It's hard to believe this great place is in Ventura. Seems more like San Francisco to me. Food and service are always exceptional but I especially like the decor. Owners spared no expense in making it into the perfect setting to enjoy a meal or delicious pastries and coffee with friends. Great attention to detail.

If you're a foodie, you must go! 5 stars, thumbs up, and a happy food dance! Try the Croque Monsieur.. and then maybe walk home. Delectable! They have spared no detail all the way to the black wrapped ceiling.

If you are at all discriminating about your pastries and homemade soup, then try Cafe Ficelle because the buttery light pastries will melt in your mouth and the soup will leave you wanting more...this is my newest addition, so I have gone back twice just for the soup and a baguette!

I'm not in the restaurant business but look at me, I've been to many restaurants. This place is doing it well. Couldn't leave the place until I meet the owner to express about my experience at his restaurant. I can not wait to be back in town to visit Cafe Ficelle !!!! Great job to the staff and chef

Had the croque madame a croissant and a cappuccino all were spectacular. The atmosphere in this cafe is really European and done in a beautiful manner. The staff was great and I will be returning for sure.

Food was amazing. Only one bad thing. Bought a cookie and it tasted like they cooked it with salt instead of sugar. Bleh, but that won〙t stop me from going back. I think it was a 1 off.

Best latte in town, actually in many towns! They put so much care into their food and coffee. When people come to Los Angeles, I take them to Philippe〙s; when people come to Ventura, I will be taking them to Cafe Ficelle! It〙s just that good.

Have only stopped in once to pickup some croissants to go (they were delicious!). It was Sunday morning and the place was bustling. Will definitely come back when there's time to sit with coffee and at least once for lunch!
