Very nice alternative interior. It reminds me of European cafés and tea houses. However, they have at least three signs that wi-fi is only with purchase over $5. I bought a coffee for $4.75 ans they didn't let me use it. WTF? Extremely uninviting.

Funky, arty decor complements varied and reliably delicious food with selections for any dietary restrictions. WiFi with purchase. Easy parking at meters out front. Favorite place for coffee/food/work on writing projects with one or two people. Main room's large table works well for bigger groups. Adjoining room has tables for two; charming upstairs balcony with medium-sized table and more seating for couples. Great staff!

I was less than impressed with Cafe 212 Pier. The coffee was mediocre, and the ambiance at the 212 Pier Ave, Santa Monica, CA 90405, USA location didn't live up to the hype. I won't be rushing back anytime soon.

Cafe 212 Pier at 212 Pier Ave, Santa Monica, CA 90405, USA is a coffee enthusiast's paradise. The attention to detail in their coffee preparation is second to none, and it's evident in every sip. The Ethiopian Yirgacheffe I tried had a bright and floral profile that was simply divine. The attention to detail in every step of the coffee-making process is impressive.
