Good coffee, wide tea selection, and an artful, interesting atmosphere. Fantastic music. A masterful take on a classic coffee house.
My sister and I stopped by here before attending a concert at the San Diego Symphony. The atmosphere is very inviting and the service is great! Their coffee is delicious as are their pesto Panini's. We had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Bassam himself. He was so sweet and made our experience even better. I'm definitely going back.
Love this place! In a nice location in san diego. The girls here are super friendly! The ambiance is very cozy and comfortable
Great for getting work done, meeting friends, or just enjoying their AMAZING espresso. The quality of ingredients they use shines through in both their coffee and their snacks. Service is always super friendly and on the spot.
The interior decorations alone are enough to entertain your for quite some time. Lots of windows and natural lighting as well, making you feel like you're not shut-in on those days you spend many hours being productive at a table.
Among all the options in Hillcrest, I frequent here the most for these reasons. Highly recommended!
Nice cafe, and very busy, especially late morning and early afternoon. Staff is very friendly and business was brisk the whole time I was there.
I had one of the best mochas I've had in a long time, superbly balanced between sweet and actually being able to taste the espresso.
There is also an amazing assortment of fresh teas, easily accessible for customer's perusal prior to purchase so one doesn't have to get in line and hold up the line asking questions of the baristas.
Food was good, looked very delicious and all customers were happy, not one single complaint from the entire crowded, full house.
Parking is good, but keep an eye on your parking meter!
Eclectic, intriguing, and full of character. This is a great spot to work all day, drink 2-3 cappuccinos, and have small talk. It's a hidden gem for most San Diegan cafe lovers.
Unique, antique designed interior. Great environment for some studying/work. Staff is friendly. The drinks are consistently delicious. I usually order the Mexican Hot Chocolate.
My favorite coffee shop. I just go for their coffee. It's really good. I always get iced Mexican chocolate or iced Mexican mocha. Their environment is also very nice. I love the old times decor. It's very unique.
Loved the latte here but sole barista was new and had no help. She was a little stressed as the line was getting longer...no fault of her own. I wonder where the key holder was at this time that could have maybe helped?
I love this tea shop! It has an insane selection on teas and kinda cheap too for the location. Food is pretty good too.
Nice little restaurant with a great selection of coffee, tea, and sandwiches. Great for breakfast too. Great service. Small outdoor eating area and free wi fi.
Very nice interior. They manage to pack in a lot of seating without making it too stuffy. The beverages are a little over priced they are good and served quicker than Starbucks.
One of the best coffee shops i've ever been to. Not only the dirty chai Mexican drink was fantastic but just the ambience was lovely. The place is full of antique coffee makers and other gadgets. It's a lovely place and definitely one worth visiting and trying.
This place is sooooo cute and you want to sit and enjoy while drinking your cup of coffees. There's always a line but it moves quite quick and def worth it for the goodies your taste buds will experience.
