I had high hopes for Caffe Bene, nestled in the heart of 3287 Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90010, but left feeling underwhelmed. The ambiance was promising, with local art on the walls and a live band setting up. However, the coffee, which should be the star of the show, was mediocre.
