We had a friends baby shower lunch on the outside patio at champagne in del mar....The manager Jay and his staff were so accomodating to our wants and needs! It was a perfect day at a perfect location!

This place is the best, friendly staff and they are always going out of there way to make there customers happy. I'm so lucky to be the Karate Instructor right across the way. Anybody that brings in there receipt from there visit to Champagnes gets a 1 Month Gift Certificate for Martial Arts and Self Defense Training compliments from Sensei Kyle Cooper. See you all in for class soon ;)

The French hot chocolate with scratch whipped cream was incredible. I had the Le Metro breakfast sandwich. The eggs were seasoned perfectly, the bread was fresh , tomatoes fresh and avacodo was just right. One of those sandwiches you eat every, single, perfectly scrumptious bite and wish there was more! Service was great too!

Excellent service, food & desserts. Strawberries & Cream Crepes, Applewood Bacon, Garlic Chicken Panini, Dijon Potato Salad, Soup Du Jour, Cafe Lattes, Brewed Coffee, Three Layer Chocolate Mouse Cakes, Lemon & Mixed Berry Tarts, are all great.

The 3layer chocolate mousse was wonderful! But I ordered and paid for a milk when I asked the lady for it she pour me a 1/4 of a cup and asked if that was enough!?!? NO I paid for a cup of milk I have the receipt to prove it. But she thought that was all I should have!

Service was much better when they had servers or wait service. Now you order at the counter and are given a number. The problem is you have 3 different people bringing your food out as it comes up so know one knows what you ordered to check to see if it’s correct. I sent back my meal twice because because the order was wrong and they forgot to bring my coffee and dessert. The food is still great by the service makes it difficult for everyone to get their meal served at the same time. Interrupts the dinning experience. They also no longer take reservation. Disappointed with the service although the staff tried.......
