Really love this place. Free wifii. Good food. Joshua Tree is not the most elegant town but this restaurant makes up for it. Very friendly servers. Great vibe. They love the locals and it shows.
This is a really cool place to get something to eat during your Joshua Tree adventures. The place was full, but people weren't waiting more than 5 minutes for a table. It felt a little expensive for what you get, but keep in mind it is pretty good and in a tourist area.
Stopped in for breakfast in my way to the national park. Nice place, starts to get a lot busier as the tourists wake up. I recommend the corned beef hash, it's savory and quite tasty!
Excellent local food. Homemade quality the baked goods are terrific at half the price you'd expect to pay. Very friendly service actually had such a good dinner had breakfast the next day
I live here and tried to give it a second go after my first disappointed visit. Bartender/coffee man was awesome and super friendly but all the waitresses I've had here are stand-offish. It feels like they think I'm "just a tourist from L.A.", one even tried to correct me when I sent my eggs back for not being cooked properly as over-medium, then they came out over hard. Food was yummy overall and I love the ambiance but at $13.50 for eggs and pancakes with mediocre service.... I'll just make it at home.
Still go to this restaurant every Friday everything is still excellent like family . The food and service is always excellent. Staff is friendly on top of everything. I go every Friday they bring me my coffee and MILK, which I LIKE, as soon as I sit down. I gets packed on weekend when the nuts from LA and tourist invade the town. Pancakes are made from scratch like most everything else the best pancakes I have ever had .
Food is fresh great menu and I cannot understand how anyone would give this place a one star. Unless they are an angry or negative person. I do not work for this business I am a honest reviewer...I love great food service and atmosphere and Crossroads has all that for me. Check it out! Don't tell the pesky tourist or the space aliens from LA!!😋
Loved it! Home made banana bread and delicious everything else! If you are in JT it's a real pleasure. A real sweetheart of a cafe!

SO happy we found this place while road tripping from TX to OR! It's not easy being a vegan on the road and the vegan quesadilla here really hit the spot! Nothing less than delicious! We're planning to come back for dinner tonight and breakfast in the morning before hitting the road again. Friendly people, great vibe and plenty of yummy vegan options. How does it get any better than that?
The food here is always awesome. Granted, the prices are catered towards tourists but that's true for all places in JT. However, I really wish the music wasn't turned up so deafeningly loud. They have it set up so one speaker is at one end of the place and another is set up at the other end. In the middle is the bar and kitchen. If I didn't know any better, I would swear that the music is for the people who work there. Considering they're mainly working around the kitchen, they would have to blast the music to enjoy it and believe me, they do. Unfortunately, the diners can't even hear themselves think let alone talk to one another. I used to go there with my parents every time they came into town but we stopped going due to being unable to talk to each other once inside.
Tried the meatless "Fake Philly" and it was delicious. Not normally a Vegan but I loved it. French Onion soup was great and not too salty. Check this place out next time you want to get lost in the desert.
Good options for dietary restrictions or preferences (albeit often by way of adding soy). Food was tasty but not amazing for the price.
Got mad dogged by the owner for sitting five to a four table and got poor service thereafter.
Not so climber friendly anymore. Definitely profiled as a group for looking scraggly and not LA chic. Our server was the only one who was slightly pleasant.
Then when paying they asked if we were going to tip more than $2; It was someone who paid with cash and the rest tipped with our cards. Of course we're going to tip. Tacky.
There are plenty of better options close by.
Very fast and friendly service. And one of the best Portobello Burgers I've ever had in my life! I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a satisfying meal.
Pretty good but a little too natural for me. I had a BLT. It hard that chewy dark green lettuce instead of iceberg. The sourdough was that tough artisan style. There wasn't quite enough tomato. I revel in a BLT that focuses on the combination of the flavor of the bacon and tomato combined with the crunch of iceberg. The bacon was good but the sandwich wasn't quite there.
