The black bold guy who is a cashier and "sometimes" manager along with Shawn "the manager" are HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!!!! They made my wife CRY, they embarrass her, humiliate her. They dont believe she was charges twice for the same item after receipt and transactions screenshots were presented. She was told "sometimes people TRY.."....What THE ACTUAL F*** ??? WHAT IS WRONG THESE PEOPLE ?????

While staying in LA this summer, Erewhon Market supplied me with most of my groceries. Their organic homemade soups come in quart Mason Jars and are better than anything that I can prepare on my own. I have become quite "spoiled."

Unfortunately, they are often understocked and many of the products that I shopped for regularly were not available. I shopped through InstaCart and had my groceries delivered to my hotel. Now that I am back East, there is nothing that compares to Erewhon's variety and quality. I will shop with them again when I am back in LA.

Due to the popularity of many of their products, I don't understand why they do not order more inventory. That is my only frustration.

Best grocery store- best deli- best prepared foods- best juice best vitamins etc etc! Yes it's expensive so make sure to price check certain items you can find other places for cheaper (eggs, frozen meals) but they have stuff no one else does and I love not having to search for organic or gmo free products. I know I can come here and everything I grab is responsibly made. Love love love. Hours are fantastic too and there's enough staff that you shouldn't ever have to wait for help :-) would give more stars if possible!

Great variety, nice deli options & lovely produce only if it was affordable by most. I don't understand the need of raising few dollars on every thing that they sell.

Prices are higher than whole foods but it's closer to the park and my house so 4 starts. Highly varied selections with enough kosher snacks to get by. Horribley clogged and crowded much of the time but the great tables outside make it favorite for afternoon snacks or a quick breakfast before or after the park with a toddler.

Love the store. It's best to buy vitamins at Whole Foods because with a receipt they take returns and Erwhon doesn't. Also, some of the people in vitamin department are wonderful and helpful and some really aren't at all. The rest of the staff and store are great always.

Store loyalty program is bogus and has a costly fee to join. Ever more stringent, there are more ways to overpay than anything close to rational let alone save here. And some were just beyond reason and not only undid any loyalty I felt, but rather engendering hostility to the point I no longer shop here even though I live right next door. No card, no save / no redo even when a receipt and card was provided - and for every 10 times I forgot the freaking card or my bf had it, I probably only rembered to try to "recover" my points 1x. Well turns out the nearby pavilions had everything I wanted for less (says something when pavilions is the cheap alternative). Too bad, I liked the convenience. One thing I did not like in addition to the ridiculous ever-changing program however, the simple fact is for a supermarket charging that much money, they have some gall for how close to or beyond the expiration date a number of the items in particular in the dairy case tend to be.

The best grocery store for all things healthy... from supplements to organic cold pressed juices, naturally sweetened sweet treats, grass-fed meats, grass-fed and raw dairy, prepared foods and of course all the produce is organic... the best healthy alternatives are here. It is pricey! But I love this place.
