Would give one star but the staff was ok.
Theme park prices for food that’s not even as good as Denny’s. That’s saying a lot
Disappointing. Came here for the first time with my father in law from out of town, we just moved to Fallbrook and we wanted to try the local area. My husband ordered a chili omelet which was almost ok, I had a bowl of chili which was too salty for any human consumption. The only thing good was the pot pie. The gravy from their biscuits and gravy had a strong, disgusting after-taste. Was that from a can?
If you enjoy eating your food and expecting a decent meal as they charge $10+, this is not for you.
It's a good place to get home style food. We have not been there in months because of some dealings with a racists couple while we we having dinner. We like it and hope to come back soon.
First visit since moving to Fallbrook. Waitstaff exceptionally friendly and efficient. Enjoyed being able to choose to sit at the counter vs. waiting as it was busy. Food was tasty and very plentiful. Good old time diner atmostphere.
Food's great. Small town feel. Don't expect them to be super fast like a high volume restaurant, it's well worth being patient when it's busy.
I absolutely love Fallbrook Cafe! These folks really know how to take care of their customers. I order my lunch for pick up all the time, always so good! Had a business lunch in there today, ahh, another great visit to the Fallbrook Cafe!
If your ever new going out to Fallbrook which my wife and myself find it a great place to just ride the motorcycle. You have to stop in the Fallbrook Cafe. We were immediately met at the door and was seated and were asked if we wanted anything to drink. The coffee was fresh and the food was great. Both of us had the prime rib with all the fixings right down to the desert. And the price was very fair. As for the people working there our cups and glasses never went dry. Both extremely friendly.
Friends highly recommended this place so we went with a snall group. Dessert was deliciously sweet and rich. The fajitas were dry and served with overcooked beans. The bread served was old.and had visible mold. Maybe we had a 1st bad experience but service was upbeat and friendly, so we would try it again someday.
We've been here 3 times now and we love it! Great hometown feeling, great food. We always eat here after hiking with our dogs...we sit outside with them on the patio and they serve us...it's really quite nice. We get a sandwich and a cup of chili, their ice tea is good. We will be back! P.S. they also have wonderful desserts.
Always a great choice! I love eating here! Good American comfort food with a small town vibe.
Food served hot, large portions and fast service.
Old-school Mom and Pop's Diner feel and taste. Hard to find places like this anymore anywhere. Tucked in the little town of Fallbrook adds to the feel of yester-year. I leave this one up to you with if are into places like this. I know i like to get away from a commercialized modern restaurants.
