I was excited to try General Porpoise, but it was a letdown. The coffee was bland, and the pastries were stale. I hope they improve their offerings.

I was craving a good cup of joe, so I hit up General Porpoise in 15217 Monument Street, Los Angeles, CA 90272. Their espresso was like a shot of liquid energy. The café had this sleek, modern vibe with stainless steel counters and minimalist décor. It's a great spot for the caffeine purist.
