My recent visit to Grillin & Chillin Alehouse was a letdown. The coffee was weak, and the pastries were stale. The staff seemed disinterested. I won't be returning.

I was in need of a caffeine boost, so I checked out Grillin & Chillin Alehouse in 401 McCray Street, Hollister, CA 95023. Their vanilla latte was a sweet, comforting hug in a cup. The café had a rustic charm with wooden tables and vintage coffee posters. A cozy spot for coffee and conversation.

Grillin & Chillin Alehouse at 401 McCray Street, Hollister, CA 95023 has a modern, almost industrial vibe that's quite different from your typical coffee shop. I ordered a latte, and while the presentation was Instagram-worthy, the flavor was just not there. It tasted burnt, and the milk was scalded. My visit to Grillin & Chillin Alehouse was a rollercoaster of emotions. The mocha I ordered was great, but the barista forgot my friend's order. Oops! They made it up with some free pastries, though. So, mixed feelings but willing to give it another shot.
