I had mixed feelings about Groundwork Coffee Co.. While the coffee at 3881 North Lakewood Boulevard, Long Beach, CA 90808 was decent, it didn't quite live up to the hype I'd heard. The service was efficient but lacked the warmth and friendliness I typically appreciate in a coffee shop. Perhaps I'll give it another shot someday.

The place is low-key and down-to-earth, just my kind of spot. The barista was cool and knew their stuff. If you're in the hood, don't miss this gem.

I'm not usually a coffee snob, but Groundwork Coffee Co. in 3881 North Lakewood Boulevard, Long Beach, CA 90808 impressed me. Their iced mocha was a chocolatey delight with a caffeine twist. The café had this indie vibe with alternative rock playing in the background. I'd totally come back for more.

Groundwork Coffee Co. on 3881 North Lakewood Boulevard, Long Beach, CA 90808 was a quaint little spot with a lot of character. The coffee was good, not great, but the homemade muffins were divine. The place had a cozy, lived-in feel that made me want to sit and read for hours. The staff were nice, but they seemed overwhelmed with the orders.
