Fantastic! Everything we ordered was great. The man working there and doing pretty much everything single-handedly was really hospitable and put in many nice touches that made for a great all-around dining experience.

The half an hour drive I make to get to Hanaya Sushi is totally worth it. I am obsessed with this place! The food is always so fresh and I always leave satisfied. The owner hand prepares every meal and you can tell he is so passionate about what he does.

Okay So I placed a to go order right before closing, the sushi was mediocre at best but the portions were fine. The service was fine however I noticed one thing. I ask the chef if I could get a Spicy Mayo and he goes away from the counter to get it. He opens the fridge gets a bucket of sauce OLE DUDE PUTS HIS HAND IN THE SAUCE as if spoons hadn't been Invented yet and takes it out then give it to me in a to go cup. Honestly I'm quite baffled at that I was left speechless. Now I'm sad to say I devoured the sauce in shame trying not to think about how it was given to me. I got A Philadelphia roll and a California roll. If you love yourself don't come here sorry to break it to you

The sushi was delicious and the service was amazing. The man who was working when I went was so welcoming and delightful. I highly recommend this place!

Great food and really good service. The waiter and actually chef is really nice. Ambiance is cozy and there is no wait to get a table if you come in the evening. Service is maybe a bit slow, but that's fine. Will come back!

Wonderful, fresh fish! Generous portions and friendly service. The chef prepares unique, artistic plates for each guest.

Just got Door Dash from them. The sushi was not good (warm, bland, a bit fishy, poorly constructed, makes me think I might get sick), packaged weirdly, missed a side order, and did not support the Door Dash service well (their menu was inaccurate, lots of stuff we ordered was unavailable).

I can't say how good they are in the restaurant.

Visited here in 2013 on my first trip to SoCal and was blown away by how good this place was, tucked away in a suburban strip mall. Friendly staff and good food.

I have to start by saying I am a hard core Sushi/Sashimi lover. Hanaya Sushi is one of my favorite places to go to due to the owner being really friendly and always understanding exactly what I want. He prepares the sushi himself and it is always first rate. The lady that works there is an excellent sushi maker as well but she has been out of the country for a few months. Very tasty and a great deal for the cost. I'm a weekly customer here and plan on continuing this.

I come here for lunch often and it's always very good. The only downside is it gets busy sometimes and takes a while for food to come. Try the grilled salmon lunch special. The portion they give is huge for $9 and it's delicious.

Pros:
- Large portions
- Very cheap for the quantity of food
- Good lunch specials

Cons:
- Slow service when busy
