Karabas needs a makeover. The furniture looks worn out, and the espresso shots were disappointingly bitter. It's in desperate need of some improvements.

I wandered into Karabas at 211 Lathrop Way, Sacramento, CA 95815 and ordered a cappuccino. It was decent, nothing to write home about. But the real star here is the ambiance – cozy, like your grandma's living room. If you're into nostalgia and coffee, this place is your jam.

I don't quite understand the hype around Karabas. The coffee was overpriced, and the atmosphere left much to be desired. It didn't live up to the expectations, in my opinion.

So, Karabas in 211 Lathrop Way, Sacramento, CA 95815 – it's a bit of a hit and miss. The mocha was A+, but the Wi-Fi was a solid F. I had better luck connecting with my imaginary friend than to their network. Come for the coffee, but bring your own hotspot.
