Stopped by here with a girfriend recently. I'm not from the area, so I'd never been here. What a delight! Healthy options are always a bonus for me! (Avocado toast on artisan sourdough was heaven!) Super friendly staff and the very cool community vibe made this place really shine!!

This place has a great atmosphere with a friendly staff. They always seem to be looking for new menu items to keep things interesting while still offering a solid staple of items.

Excellent drinks, decent WiFi, ample table space, enough outlets, friendly to students camping out all day, and live music and performances once nightfall hits. Friendly staff and definitely had some regulars that frequent the space for good stints of time. I’m a fan!

The kettle has fantastic tasting coffee and loose leaf teas. They have just begun to roast their own beans which provide a relatively low acidic, chocolate taste with hints of fruit; makes for a fantastic espresso if you are into that. Their mixed drinks are also artistically delicious; all around good craftmenship.

The staff is also very friendly and helpful. They are always a pleasure to talk with, and helpfully knowledgable on the local area.

The Kettle is also a great place to hangout with friends, family, have casual business meetings, or catch up on some studying for any classes if you are a student.

The Kettle is definitely worth a visit!

Kettle is downtown Escondido's stop for good, local coffee. They've got ample seating, nice staff, and a good selection. Prices are moderate for the market, and definitely reasonable. I've yet to get a drink there that I haven't liked!

Only thing that would make it perfect for me would be if they were open a little later. However, I understand that everyone's gotta get home sometime, and after dark can be a bit odd in downtown.

What a great shop! Quiet for the amount of people there. Wonderful atmosphere where you can actually concentrate. Ideal location for meetups and even outdoor seating. Check It out!

One and only high-end coffee shop in Esco. Roasting machine is on-site. Sit at the window and take in the street scene. Excellent beet salad.

It was the perfect place for a late Friday meeting before enjoying the car show of classic 70s and earlier cars that they have on Fridays in the summer.

I sat outside under the shaded awning and enjoyed the warm summer afternoon.

The kettle has always been a second home to me. The service is amazing, as well as the atmosphere. I take all my friends here, and recommend it to everyone. Sure, the prices may be on the higher side- but it is no worse on your wallet than Starbucks. Its better to support local Escondido anyways. They have an array of specialty drinks and holiday ones that taste amazing as well. The staff know their frequent customers by name, which is something you don't see very often anymore.They have an open mic night on Thursdays too. Bottom line, this place is amazing for any occasion. I personally would call it my favorite authentic coffee shop.

Super cute coffee house. The coffee was amazing. They have almond milk and coconut milk. Plus they make their own house syrup. Got the vanilla latte with almond milk, it was amazing.

The best specialty coffee shop in North County.

This place has an awesome environment, and friendly employees. Best of all, the coffee is well made. The cold brew is unbeatable.
