Tiny Toes will melt your heart! ♥️ this precious older lady no longer has any teeth, due to poor dental hygiene and infection (always remember to brush)! No worries though, she’s always looking at the bright side of life! She is as happy as ever eating her wet food only diet. Due to her zero toofs, she can be found with her tongue 😛 sticking out. What's not to love, really? Be prepared to take shoes off when entering cat area. Book ahead. Go for the cats, stay for the tea, and don't leave without checking out adorable trinkets for sale. I'd give 4.5 stars only because it is a bit pricey, but hey it's SF. Cats gotta pay rent too. Last, staff are all great too.

What a wonderful little place for cat lovers! I had a wonderful time at Happy Meow'r! It was so relaxing. I loved all the cats at KitTea and I wanted to buy ALL the souvenirs; and the tea and cheese scone with butter and jam was excellent! <3 =^..^=

We dropped in without a reservation and the staff could not have been nicer or more welcoming. They have 18 kitties in house with 4 up for adoption. The space is airy and sunny and clean. They have wonderful teas and a lovely gift shop! Well worth a visit!

Traveling from out of town and this popped up on my Facebook as something to do, so my husband and I went. It was a wonderful time after a long day. We’ve been to other cat cafes and this one was way more relaxed, the cats all seem to get along and don’t act aggressive towards each other. They’re mostly friendly with the visitors and are very sweet. I highly recommend this place if you’re a cat lover!

This place was great! Employees were very nice. And I mean what's better than spending an hour with cats? The answer is nothing. Nothing is better, except maybe more than an hour with cats. Also, the mint tea was very good.

The cats were adorable and the tea was delicious. I like it even more because the cats have their break on Tuesday (or whenever they want).The cats are very friendly and social, and the Place is well organized. I agree with the price, because the cats looks happy and healthy. I would love to come back.

Tea & Cats. What could be a better combo? They take great care of their residents and a few that are up for adoption. They also have milkshakes, waffles and more in the cafe after you spend time with the felines! If you love cats, KitTea is a must visit!

My hubby and I spent our seven year anniversary here. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The cats were in nap mode but still fun to watch and interact with. The waffle I had was delicious and the tea was good too. One of my face spots in the city.

My daughters loved it. Made the mistake of bringing in a salad and panini into the cat room around the cats dinner time...it was fun to watch and will make some fun stories. Cats were fun and very personable.

My daughter and I visited this lovely place on our mother-daughter trip to SF and we had a wonderful time! Every single person we interacted with from the front desk and cafe staff to the “cat wrangler” was so pleasant and went above and beyond to make our experience purrrrrfect! The kitties were super sweet and this visit was truly a highlight of our trip! If you get the chance to go, don’t hesitate!

I'm from Arkansas and this was absolutely on the top of my to do list while visiting my mom in the City and I'd do it a thousand more times. It was the most relaxing experience ever to sit in a room full of cats and cat lovers and watch the each of the cats and their wonderful personalities while drinking tea. Absolutely made my day--so glad I got to visit this gem of a place and pick up some "Kitty Wine" on my way out for my own fur baby back in Arkansas.

I visit San Francisco one to two times a year and I always make sure to spend time at KitTea. It truly is a unique space. The staff is always friendly, kind and inviting. The tea is authentic and served quickly. All the food I have tried is delicious and flavorful. Most importantly the cat sanctuary is peaceful and loving. Overall KitTea is a very happy place and there is genuine love for cats by the staff and visitors and that makes the experience unforgettable.

I had such a wonderful time! My sister and I booked at visit at 10 am to kick off my birthday and it was purrfect �the cats are so wonderful, sweet and sociable. It was extremely clean, and the tea itself was delicious (extra points for the wonderful stoneware!). They also had booklets with cleverly written bios of the cats so you could get to know them. The small shop upfront has everything a cat lover could want. I left with a sticker of Otis. Wish I could have taken him home with me. All in all, a must visit spot for both travelers and natives! Thank you for the birthday cookie too �

I absolutely loved it. That hour of having tea with the cats was better than any hour I’ve ever had of therapy! Seriously! And, it’s much cheaper! lol



The cats were all enjoying being loved on. They were very friendly. I couldn’t have asked for a better time. It was all I expected and more. Thank you for such a great experience.



Unfortunately, I live out of the area but the next time I’m in SF I hope to visit again.

Been here twice and loved it both times. The staff is great; everyone is very friendly. The cats are adorable and love to play or be pet. I've had the Sundae Waffle both times and it was delicious, as was the hot chocolate. If you order food or drinks, you can eat it before or after your time with the cats, which I suggest. You can also eat while you're in with them but you'll find yourself spending time eating instead of playing with them, plus they try to eat or drink your food which is cute but I'm always scared they'll eat something they shouldn't, like chocolate. Plus, by eating before or after, you can do so in the cafe part while watching the cats through a long window. So it kind of extends your time in a sense. And if you like tea, you get unlimited green tea with your reservation. Be sure to get their rewards card since you'll likely visit often, and can earn a free visit by doing so. Their gift shop also has some great things to buy. A really nice, relaxing visit every time. You'll love it!
