I'm 74 and I'm the worst swimmer at the JCC Masters Swim. Coach Mike and Coach Sidney are infinitely patient. The team is supportive. I love to scuba dive. Masters Swim makes me swim longer and farther with better technique. I love the 50 meter pool. The payoff for me is more confidence and strength when diving around the world. I just dove Misool in Indonesia and saw rare White giant mantas. What a thrill! Now I have to return in the evenings to the gym. Get stronger and braver so I can dive Palau. What helps is that everyone at the "J" is so pleasant and encouraging. I feel comfortable there...I'm not Jewish and never was a collegiate team swimmer. But it doesn't seem to matter.

Good freindly community center

The pool is always clean and available. The hot tub is open. The gym is not crowded for lifting weights, stretching, etc. 1000 times better than using the Y.

Great aquatics and fitness facility, with a friendly community as well.

I was excited to try Lawrence Family Jewish Community Center, but it turned out to be a disappointment. The coffee was bland, and the pastries were stale. The prices were high for the quality they offered. I hope they can improve their offerings and service because I won't be returning.

Lawrence Family Jewish Community Center – you're a coffee legend! The cappuccino I had was like a warm, frothy hug from an old friend, and the staff? They were as welcoming as Grandma's apple pie. This place is officially my caffeine sanctuary.

My visit to Lawrence Family Jewish Community Center was far from enjoyable. The coffee was lukewarm, and the service at the 4126 Executive Dr, La Jolla, CA 92037, USA location was unimpressive. I won't be coming back.
