I'm 74 and I'm the worst swimmer at the JCC Masters Swim. Coach Mike and Coach Sidney are infinitely patient. The team is supportive. I love to scuba dive. Masters Swim makes me swim longer and farther with better technique. I love the 50 meter pool. The payoff for me is more confidence and strength when diving around the world. I just dove Misool in Indonesia and saw rare White giant mantas. What a thrill! Now I have to return in the evenings to the gym. Get stronger and braver so I can dive Palau. What helps is that everyone at the "J" is so pleasant and encouraging. I feel comfortable there...I'm not Jewish and never was a collegiate team swimmer. But it doesn't seem to matter.

The pool is always clean and available. The hot tub is open. The gym is not crowded for lifting weights, stretching, etc. 1000 times better than using the Y.

Lawrence Family Jewish Community Center is where I go to find solace. The cappuccino is perfection, and the welcoming staff make you feel right at home. It's my sanctuary.

I had high expectations for Lawrence Family Jewish Community Center, but I was let down. The coffee was bitter, and the service was slow. I won't be returning to the 4126 Executive Dr, La Jolla, CA 92037, USA location.

Lawrence Family Jewish Community Center left me underwhelmed. The coffee failed to impress, and the lackluster ambiance at the 4126 Executive Dr, La Jolla, CA 92037, USA location didn't help. I won't be rushing back anytime soon.
