Deep dish pizza. You have to try it at least once, but know it takes at least 40 minutes to cook. Other food is good too. If there is a wait, they will start cooking your pizza while you wait to be seated. Go walk around Sunset and enjoy the local shops of echo Park while you wait.

Great food atmosphere and service. Our waitress Royce was a pleasure to have. Best deep dish I have had in a long time. Highly recommend for a night out. Dine in and enjoy or take home and pig out. Blackened chicken panini and fries also great as a lunch or dinner. You must give this place a try.

We were a group of 5 hungry women. We had apps and ordered a few of the Chicago Style, Deep Dish. We all LOVED our Pizzas. We even had a bunch to take home. Keep in mind, you have a 45 min wait on the deep dish, but so worth it. Our sever was awesome, she even split all the bills for us 3 ways. Best Deep Dish Pizza I have ever rasted!! ♡ v

Food was delicious, we all enjoyed our meal. Overall great experience, service was great. Found it quite strange that our server Athena said they did not do separate checks.. It meant that our party of 5 people who all wanted separate checks had to fumble around and get cash out, which some didn't even carry cash. But great atmosphere.

I waited a while to write this review because, to be honest, I've never been so disrespected in my life. The experience I had at Masa was not only embarrassing, but it was also completely unprofessional. I ordered a pizza to go, and I waited 45 minutes for it, which was not the problem. When the man who gave it to me rang me up, he said, "If I knew who it was for, I wouldn't have placed the order." I had never been there before, and I didn't know this person personally. I was utterly shocked, but I took the pizza, and left. I was puzzled, shocked, and right then, I decided to never speak well of your restaurant. An employee should NEVER speak to a customer the way I was treated. I will share my experience with those I know because your restaurant should not be patronized.

Best deep dish in all the land!! Worth the wait, great vibe and customer service. I usually get a glass of pinot noir with my Lots of Meat pie.

The pizza by itself is awesome. I think i went there on the worst time. It was overcrowded with loud hipsters and babies...

This is my favorite pizza place in California. The deep dish is as good as it gets. Customer service is sometimes a little lacking. Some of the wait staff are straight up rude. Not in a "ha ha" way, either. More like "I don't want you to be here and I'm going to make you feel like garbage." But the pizza is so good I'd keep coming back if they spit in my face. Which I wouldn't put past them.

Absolutely amazing Deep Dish pizza. Been prepared to eat and be prepared to have left overs. This pizza is not for the faint of heart or lite eaters. Personally would have added pepperoni to the original and it would have been even better. just have to be in the mood to scarf down all the Deep Dish !!!

Starters were good. Deep dish pizza does not appear to be our thing. Will have to try the other pizza next time. We were greeted promptly and were encouraged to order ahead of time since we were having deep dish pizza (45 min to make). Our server was attentive and adequate. Unfortunately the host and another server came across a little cold and abrupt.

Better order dine in CUZ you'll be asked to leave if you order take out and change your mind. And they are rude at times the pizza is delicious tho

The sausage on the all meat deep dish pizza comes as a layer of sausage meat rather than sliced pieces of sausage. Not being an aficionado of deep dish this was a surprise. Nevertheless it was thoroughly enjoyable.

I come here regularly for Deep Dish pizza in LA. Nobody compares and be prepared to wait 40 minutes for it to cook. I suggest ordering you pizza first then look at the menu for appetisers and drinks. Their Minestrone Soup is decadent and served well proportioned.

Gotta say... I know my deep dish. Masa does it right. Go with the traditional (sweet Italian sausage + mushroom) and a liter of chianti and you'll be set. Bread is complimentary and freshly baked. Add a medium pizza, a salad and the bread pudding and four adults will be well fed. Service was friendly - just be prepared for the pies to take some time.
