Tea at McKenna's always a treat. We had tea and scones and five little sandwiches. The food was delicious, the service a little slow.
This is about the 5th time I come here and I love it. Very cozy, delicious tea (I recommend the vanilla hazelnut), and essentially a place where you can take your girlfiends or spend time with mom or grandma. I've been here with my girlfriend and once with my boyfrisns. All the times were absolutely great.
Lovely luncheon spent with friends. Food was good and the tea choices were excellent. A very enjoyable time.
We purchased two coupons off of Groupon. We kind of had the understanding that we could use them but they would only accept one Groupon even though we had a larger party. The food is okay and we mostly go out because we do it once a year at a tea house and it's just kind of fun after Mother's Day.
Fantastic quiet place you can talk with out noise jarring you. Nice decor. Wonderful soup, tea sandwich s & great tea. Lovely place . We all liked our visit .
Had a lovely time with my daughter & granddaughter. Tea choices were amazing and the scones were delicious. Highly recommend McKenna's, and a stroll on the nearby pier after.
First, great service! And it is a really cute place.
However, the tea services are pricey without a Groupon. For $15, we were able to do 2 $20-something services, which for one pot of tea, five finger sandwiches, and one scone each is a bit... However, it is an experience, and something to do if you want to take it slow and relax. But, each person does get a POT of tea, which is about 6 cups. (I would recommend bringing a metal water bottle to take your excess tea home with, and enjoy it chilled :D.)
Their "general store" area sells the teas for a very good value ($6.00/ounce), and one ounce fills like an entire bag, and you only need a teaspoon of it to make like 6 cups of tea.
Cute tea house..good customer service. Only thing missing in the lemon curd for the scones.
It's a lot of fun, and way more chill and relaxed than you my imagine.
It's great if you want to go to experience something different..The tea is delicious and the scones were great. The sandwiches were really small..but hey they are tea sanwiches..lol
It's cute and quaint. Great place for my teen stepdaughter and me to enjoy afternoon tea, while reviewing lessons in etiquette.;)
