We recently discovered Mead’s Green Door Cafe, and we love it! My wife is vegan, and even though I’m not, we both love this place. Beautiful decor inside, super friendly staff, and delicious food. The best tasting tamales we’ve ever had. Delicious soups, amazing sandwiches. The Buffalo Cauliflower is a must.

We knew this was an awesome place from the moment we walked in the door. Amazing atmosphere, delicious food and the most friendliest respectful staff. The bread was to die for. Smoothies are a little pricey but the food price is fair. Made our Sunday! Thank you!

We had a great experience here today! We had the hummus and vegies, buffalo cauliflower (yummy!) , roasted sweet potato fries with chipotle sauce and taco salad topped with the buffalo cauliflower! We live in San Juan Capistrano but will definitely be back! The staff was very friendly also!

We are so thrilled to have found this Cafe! We had the King'shroom Stack Sandwich. It's amazing how they made those mushrooms have not only the taste, but also texture of pulled pork! Well done!!

Love! Love! LOVE!!! Everything is so yummy! I never leave without their famous buffalo cauliflower kale pizza or a kale muffin with apricot jam! Their salads and wraps are delicious. Their sandwiches are hearty and filling. Their tea, coffee, and smoothies are super yummy. And their desserts are EPIC! I used to live down the street, and it's honestly a good thing I moved, because I'd eat them out of business!! �

Love this funky little cafe with friendly personnel and a laid back, positive vibe + fantastic vegan and vegetarian food. Go threre - You won't be sorry. It's a bit of a drive for us, but well worth it.

It was an unexpected joy to enjoy a classical cup of coffee and a fresh strawberry scones this morning at Mead's Green Door Cafe in Orange. The artsy atmosphere was conducive to relaxing for a time out of the 89 degree warmth of the day. The wait staff was pleasant and I was even able to have a chat with one of the staff as I sipped my delicious coffee. This is THE place for you to consider for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

I love this cute vegetarian cafe in Orange, and always try to come here when I'm in the neighborhood. However, I think they messed up my order and charged me more than what I ordered yesterday.



I ordered:

2 Buffalo Cauliflower $5.5 x 2 = $11

Sriracha Bomb Burger $8.75

Add Chips & Iced Tea to any meal $2.75,

the total should be $22.50 (before tax).



I don't know what kind of tax rate it is, but I was being charged the total of $31.09 without tips!



He didn't confirm my order with me nor give me any receipt. It didn't hit me until I left the cafe, when our drink was ready, they brought out 2 Iced Tea, I told him we only ordered 1, and asked him "Did you charged me for two?" He said "No" then took 1 tea back. I felt kinda suspicious, so I looked up their online menu and check my card history when I got home, only to realize I was being overcharged.



Despite being overcharged, the food was awesome! I love their Buffalo Cauliflower, Artichoke & Gouda Grilled Cheese, and Sriracha Bomb Burger! So yummy. My friend who's not a vegetarian tasted my burger and said it's really tasty!

I visited Mead's Green Door 6 times in my 5 day work trip to Santa Ana, so you know it had to be good! It was a treat to find a cafe with delicious vegetarian eats and a funky vibe to hang out in during my down time. The highlights for me were the Mead's ranchero burrito, buffalo cauliflower, and on-tap kombucha. I also appreciated the habanero hot sauce, which i hardly ever see in restaurants! I will definitely be back next time I am in the area!

Great spot, great food & great service! Definitely a must go if you're vegan or vegetarian or even curious about it
