I live in Charlotte and often take the "red-eye" home from LA. It has become something of a tradition for me to have dinner at Overland Cafe before I head to the airport. I have never had a disappointing visit. I'm afraid I can't speak for the whole menu because I almost always get the same thing: Gorgonzola Salad topped with steak. Always excellent. However, my son had the Shepherd's Pie and said it was great. I once had the Blue Cheese Burger, and it was great, too. My son and I split an appetizer of Chicken Wings and they were just the right combination of crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. I like spicy and these had just the right amount of fire for me.

I eat here 1-3 times per week, The Weekend Brunch is excellent, and the dinner options are the best kept secret on the westside! My kids love the Flatbread Pizzas & the Chicken Pot Pie. I have always had good service when I am there. I give it 5 stars because of the good food, and super family friendly environment.

I can not remember the waitress name. She was so attentive to our table of 7. All our drinks were topped off. She remembered each order and handed everyone the correct order of food. The food was great. My party of 7 all had separate bills and our waitress handled all 7 bills without a problem. My wife paid with a credit card. I personally tipped her for a job well done. Just which I could remember her name... You have a valued employee in her... I will see her again, I work across the street at JB Auto...

Like the Sunday bottles of champagne for momosas they give, the breakfast or good not great. Would of gave 5 stars but since the remodel their $4 breakfast turned into $11 and parking is terrible. Fun to go if your with a group.

Champagne brunch A+amazing! Great service and portions, highly recommended but please make reservations as there is always line to get in. I gave it a 4 only because reservations are only limited to 8 people so if you have more you are out of luck.

Used to be my #1 Brunch spot but recent visits have been meh... Two weeks ago my eggs Benedict was served with a smear of someone else's spinach on the knife inserted between the egg & ham! The fix brought me an overlooked egg sandwich with hidden bacon flecks on Brioche for $10 while my eating partner looked sadly at his floppy (then cold), bacon. Mimosas are top notch & I love our British waitress!

Food is never out when they say it is, they give us the wrong order all the time and a terrible arrogance from the whole waitstaff, especially the management.

Do not come here! The owner is a racist jerk and despite having made reservations in advance for a birthday brunch all of a sudden couldn't accommodate our group but somehow was able to accommodate the group behind us.
