Without a doubt, one of the best tiramisus I've ever eaten. Their coffee and tea were delicious as well.

Some of the best coffee and gelato in San Diego, packed inside a cozy atmosphere reminiscent of the cafes of Italy. Run by an Italian family, you are greeted by a friendly barista, serving delicious coffee and gelato. Pappalecco's locations have become some of my favorite hangout spots in San Diego and, with the free WIFI and quiet location, you are able to either get some work done or enjoy relaxed conversation. As someone who lived in Rome for a few years, I felt transported back by their authentic fare and knowledgeable staff.

Its cool place. Food is good for snacking. Atmosphere is awesome. More spacious than downtown one so i like this location better.

Great cafe with classic Italian vibe, good wine selection, gelato, and decent food. Also, good place to work of study.

Tastes like I'm back in Italy. Pollo salad and Veggie Panini were delicious. Gelato tastes authentic too. Real Italian! David was very friendly. We'll be coming back here!

Great staff and service, I particularly enjoy the chai latte and their pastries! A great place to chat with friends or do work.

I came in days after my first visit and was welcomed back like a regular. Same thing happened again a week later. The coffee is great and so is the food.

We come here pretty often.Francesco the owner does a great job keeping a good vibe going so it is a relaxing place to be.The cappuccinos are among the best in San Diego.My wife and I tried their paninis for the first time last Sunday and they were terrific.And we followed that up with some gelato...mmmmm the banana gelato was something special.It's a great stopover and the service is always with a big smile.

The ladies here are always so friendly and love small talk. Best gelato in San Diego! I highly recommend the Marocchino gelato!

The gelato is the best I've had anywhere and it's made entirely on location. The flavors are completely amazing and the texture and everything. The small side dishes are really good to this place is about quality I also had a great conversation with one of the guys from Italy about the gelato and food and the importance of fresh ingredients and sourcing stuff locally.

This is my coffee place, it's my goto, favorite, never fail, one and only, best if the best, yummy coffee spot.
And I live a block away! Woohoo!
