I eat here at least 3 times a week. Their sandwiches & cookies are very tasty and everyone here is always super friendly and always smiling!
Cookies 5 stars; service not at all 5 stars.
Cookies are delicious; sandwiches are good. Tallying more negative experiences.
Most Recently: called in a bday cake. Confirmed order with girl over the phone a few times and had related conversation "what time do you close" 9 "okay I'll be there at 8:30." No reason in that context or my order for them to think a different time.
Arrived at 8:30. Long wait for my order. Turns out they didn't make it and put us in at 8:30am. Couldn't make one either.
We asked for the manager. She said she can make it in the morning. She said it like we should come in the morning, like it's our responsibility to fix their mistake. Disrespectful.
We couldn't pick it up at a later time if we wanted to. Manager offered us cookies when we left. Felt like she gave us cookies she was going to throw out anyways.
Impression left:
paradise made a mistake. They're not willing to fix that mistake and imply the customer should. Overall feeling of "you're not worth celebrating a birthday."
Delicious everything! My favorite is the tomato soup w/vegetarian paradise sandwich. Oh and don't forget their cookies ! A+ service! Maria is the sweetest and always provides amazing service!
Stopped for a quick bite while shopping. Breads were good and we liked the sandwich they made.
Their cookies have the best ingredients, but where's the love for crunchy?
The cookies are delicious!
Heard a lot about this place from some friends at work. My friends have always tried to get me to try this place. So they got me to travel to the Paradise Bakery & Cafe and I must say it wasn't overhyped. The food is really delicious I couldn't even be mad at the suggestion. The menu itself appeared to be driven towards healthier options. I ended up ordering the bison burger and French fries. The bison burger came with chili and oh my God the taste was amazing. I have no clue who the chef was but he was absolutely amazing. He seasoned the food well and I was disappointed as I ate my burger because each bite left me with less food. I can't wait to go back to this restaurant because I am definitely ordering the same thing. If it comes out anywhere near how it did this first time I will be pleased. Two thumbs up for this spot definitely coming again.
Excellent bakery with great prices.
Greate sup, and the cookies ate delicious. Customer Service is the best. Thank you cashier Anayeli.
I had high hopes for Paradise Bakery & Cafe, nestled in the heart of 1006 The Shops Blvd, Mission Viejo, CA 92691, USA, but left feeling underwhelmed. The ambiance was promising, with local art on the walls and a live band setting up. However, the coffee, which should be the star of the show, was mediocre. The beans were over-roasted, and the brew lacked depth. I did enjoy the homemade biscotti served on the side, though.,Paradise Bakery & Cafe,1006 The Shops Blvd, Mission Viejo, CA 92691, USA
