Patty’s Cakes made our awesome cake for our wedding back in September. We visited many different bakeries but none really held a candle to Patty’s Cakes. The whole process from soup to nuts was enjoyable, stress-free, and absolutely delicious. We were lucky to work directly with Philip for our cake. He was phenomenal, totally there with great advice when we needed it and helped us choose a cake that everyone on our big night enjoyed and adored.

The cakes themselves were top notch. We were able to sample a bunch of different combinations and had trouble narrowing down the ones we wanted (Their versions of Funfetti and Red Velvet are probably the best I’ve ever had) and Philip helped us plan out a simple but elegant decoration that looked amazing free from inedible decorations like fondant. Everyone at our wedding loved the way the cake looked and most importantly how the cake tasted. It was delicious, and everyone had nothing but praise for it.

Logistically, everything was smooth sailing as well. Paying for the cake was super simple via their website and delivery the day of the wedding to Laguna Beach was perfect as well. No issues whatsoever.

Bottom line, if you want an amazing wedding cake that looks and (most importantly) tastes amazing, you absolutely cannot go wrong with Patty’s. Having them make our cake helped make our special day much more memorable. Huge thanks to Philip and the rest of the crew!

We got the red velvet with cream cheese mousse cupcake and the chocolate with peanut butter mousse. Both were awesome. Beautifully light, fluffy, and perfectly sweet. Can't wait to try other flavors!

Patty's Cakes is amazing! They recently made our wedding cake and it was beautiful but more importantly is was delicious. All of our guests kept telling us how good it was. As an added bonus, they are super easy to work with and very up front about their pricing (available on their website) which is really reasonable. If you want a beautiful wedding cake that actually tastes great go see Patty's Cakes!

Experience was great and place is super clean. My son loved the Halloween decorations. Customer service was amazing. I needed to order cupcakes foe my son's birthday party. Marlene was very patient and told me to take my time. I was able to customize my order to son's liking, whose turning 4. He is excited and cannot wait to share his cupcakes with his friends. Will update review after the taste test. :-D

This review is an update from yesterday. The cupcakes after a taste test from my son and neice, who are about to be 4, was a hit. They are yummy. I did call back to change one of my orders from the Red Velvet to the Neapolitan. I feel better knowing that my son's class with absolutely love the cupcakes.

We have been going to Patty’s cakes for years for their delicious cupcakes and cake balls so when it came time to get our wedding cake they were the obvious choice. Our initial consultation with Philip was great; he really helped walk us through everything, gave us a photo book of designs to look through and suggested great cake flavors for us to try. We went for a very simple design and the cake itself was chocolate with raspberry filling which everyone loved. We had very little cake left over which shows it was a hit with our guests! Thank you so much to Patty’s cakes for making us a beautiful and delicious wedding cake!

Tried six different flavors and my favorites were the Red Velvet cupcake and the Chocolate Carmel Salty. The cake was moist and the frosting was not to sweet. It was perfect. The staff was very helpful. I will be coming back again.

Wow! Wow! Wow! Wait, one more WOW!!! We heard of Patty Cakes through The Knot. Since it's nearby, we made a pit stop to check it out. We fell in love with the Chocolate Peanut Butter mixture. By the way, you can just about build whatever you want. Anyway, this cake was beyond belief delicious. What made us feel better about Patty Cakes, however, is that we saw how it has been made mention of on local television. So, to say that we highly recommend this specialty bakery is an understatement. It's a must.

My boyfriend bought me a cake from here for my birthday! He had got me a raspberry and cream cake it was delicious! I could not stop eating the cake! It really was one of the best cakes I have ever had! I will definitely come back here for any desserts that I will be needing in the future!

Patty's Cakes is the place to go for wedding cakes! We decided to go with cupcakes - red velvet, vanilla, and chocolate, and all of our guests commented that everything was delicious. Patty and her staff worked tirelessly with us to make sure everything was perfect, even staying after hours when we were late for an appointment. Great staff and great food - our experience could not have been better!

Excellent cupcakes compared to many other places I've been in Orange County that were self starters. This place has a chance of getting bigger. Some of the best cupcake combinations I've ever run across. It's not that they look great they also taste as good as they look. Specialty cakes for weddings and other events are also available. Award-winning for the past 5 years.

My friend brought over a dozen gluten free cupcakes for her birthday. And omg, I don't eat gluten free exclusively, they were so delicious! I was skeptical because of the gluten freeness of them. But I will eat one again, promise you that. Thanks Pattys Cakes for being so delicious!!

I've been here a few times and I love it. I went today and requested the pumpkin cheesecake cupcake. Even though it was delicious the frosting tasted nothing like cream cheese. that's my only complaint. other than that I'll still continue to visit
