I had high hopes for Pendulum Cafe/Bakery/Boutique, but my visit left much to be desired. The coffee was lukewarm, and the service was slow. It took ages to get my order, and when I finally did, it was disappointing. The lackluster brew and disinterested staff made for a forgettable experience. I won't be returning anytime soon.

Had a chance to pop into Pendulum Cafe/Bakery/Boutique at 13233 South St, Cerritos, California 90703, and it was a solid experience. Ordered their flat white, and it was pretty darn good. The café has a rustic charm with wooden furniture and indie tunes playing in the background. It's a place where you can relax and enjoy your coffee without any fuss.
