My visit to Perko'S Cafe was marred by disappointment. The coffee tasted bitter, and the pastries were far from fresh at the 101 West Polk Street, Coalinga, CA 93210 location. I'd advise looking elsewhere for your coffee fix.

So, I ventured into Perko'S Cafe in 101 West Polk Street, Coalinga, CA 93210, and their cortado was the bomb dot com. It had that perfect balance of espresso and warm, frothy milk. The café had this industrial chic thing going on with exposed brick walls and hanging Edison bulbs. Loved the vibe.

I ordered a latte, and while the presentation was Instagram-worthy, the flavor was just not there. It tasted burnt, and the milk was scalded.
