The coffee at Philz Coffee left much to be desired. It lacked flavor, and the service was slow. I won't be returning.

I stumbled upon Philz Coffee in 13005 Ventura Boulevard, Studio City, CA 91604 while exploring the neighborhood, and I'm so glad I did. Their pour-over coffee was legit. It had this rich, earthy flavor that hit all the right spots. The café itself had this rustic charm, like a cozy cabin in the woods. I'll definitely be making this my regular coffee spot.

Philz Coffee at 13005 Ventura Boulevard, Studio City, CA 91604 has a modern, almost industrial vibe that's quite different from your typical coffee shop. I ordered a latte, and while the presentation was Instagram-worthy, the flavor was just not there. It tasted burnt, and the milk was scalded.
