My husband and my favorite desserts are Japanese desserts. We have gone to Japan several times and fell in love with their desserts! Patisserie Chantilly is the only place I know here that has desserts as delicious as those we had in Japan! They remain true and authentic to their roots. The desserts are light... fluffy.... rich... and just so delicious! Our favorite place to go.

I've been to the best of the best of French Pâtisseries - at the source, in Paris.



ANGELINA, LADUREE, etc. - I've tried them all, and the desserts at Pâtisserie Chantilly are up there with the best of them, but with a delicate 'Japanese' touch that appeals to Asian tastebuds.



But Asian or not, the desserts here are bound to delight anyone. Spectacular products, can't say enough good things about them.

The quality of the desserts are top notch, they can be served with any tasting menu from the hot chefs in town. The only thing that bothers me is the service attitude of the store clerks, this does not happen all the time but enough time for me to not going there for a streach of time. One item I absolutely crave and cannot be found elsewhere is black sesame cream puff with black sesame cream filling. It is one of their most famous creation and the availablility can be scares. I have lived in Japan before and went to enough shops to expect the usually response of an apology delivered and offer of other items or flavores instead. But sometimes I get this response in the tone that is more like "yeah, they are gone, so only chocolate or vanilla left, make up your mind"..... I know they run out of the sesame ones really fast, I am curious why they do not just make more of that flavor instead? The store offer chairs and tables one can order tea or coffee to go with the dessert if you would like to enjoy them there. They had done a remodel of the store recently, an upgrade to the chairs with classics design like Eames Molded Chair would have been nice.
