My hamburger was not cooked so I sent it back, it came back still uncooked. The waitress said she would take it off the bill, but then only took off the two coffees. Really poor service, not good food.

Went here with a friend and waited for 20minutes to be seated. That wasn't the problem! My friend and I sat down to eat and after 25minutes the waiter asked us to leave so two other people could eat. It was very rude! We were the only blacks there and the waiter took his time serving us. He didn't refill any of our drinks and it was difficult to get our condiments. It was a very uncomfortable feeling!

Ordered a medium well burger, fries, and tap beer. The burger came very well done and dry. The fries were desperate for some salt, and the waitress overcharged me for the drink, neglecting the daily happy hour discount. The burger was certainly not worth $13, and I wouldn't even pay half that for it.

Today, Rudy's Can't Fail Cafe failed a Rudy.

As an aside, the decor and music fit the restaurant theme very well. I wanted very much to like the cafe, but couldn't on account of the food and service.

Excellent atmosphere and wide variety of comfort foods on the menu. The staff is very friendly and attentive. It's a perfect place to stop before a concert or show at the Fox Theater next door. Try the macaroni and cheese with broccoli and grilled chicken, but be prepared to share. Their drinks are also excellent.

Food was cold and it took awhile to get the attention of the server. Tasted better warm. The music loud and there was an echo effect. Walked out with a headache

The jams were on point. Service was great, friendly, and honest, which is sometimes hard to find. Food was great and pricing was reasonable. Would definitely come back!

You can't beat half sandwich and soup for $5. Waitress was super attentive and nice. Overall ambiance was awesome. Come back on a Friday for Fish and chips and between 2 PM and 5 PM for Blue Plate special of $2 off!

Went here once and really enjoyed it. Fun decor and food was pretty good. Came here again and the service was absolutely terrible!! Got seated and then completely ignored for at least 20 minutes. The waitress in our section even looked over at our table a few times but never once came over to check in or take our orders. We ended up walking out and going across the street.

Great food and atmosphere. Only giving it 4 starts because parking is difficult.

I really enjoy this place. I'm a big fan of their other location but it can get really crowded. This is the second time I go to this location and I enjoyed it both times. Once for brunch it was relatively painless for two people to get a spot, though we did go when it opened, and the place really hit the spot.

Great food, service is not the best, but they are working on it. I notice a difference the last time i was there.
