Reviews from tripadvisor.com:
"The home made pie was one of the best I have ever had, not real sweet, almost as good as grandma's. Try it! ! " - Dervin, San Francisco
'You won't be disappointed. They were able to accommodate gluten free without any trouble, and had a nice little sweet I could eat at the end of a fabulous meal. " - Kristen P, Pacifica
"We like a late breakfast. We actually ate here 3 out of 5 mornings. We tried to imitate some of their recipes when we got home. Definitely not your regular breakfast menu. Great service and friendly staff. Great selection of teas and coffee. " - Ernierad, St. Pete Beach, Florida
"Charming little neighborhood family friendly restaurant with the very best breakfasts. Stayed in Pacifica for a few days at the end of our 3 week tour of sonoma & Napa. We enjoyed the food so much that we came back for lunch and dinner at the cafe. The food is fresh, the coffee is great and the staff are friendly and entertaining. , the place is cozy and casual. Prices are very fair for the quality and preparation. We recommend this little gem wholeheartedly. " - Delilahs, Bethesda, Maryland

The most current iteration of this historic 1906 building was Salada Beach Cafe, opened in 2002, closed on June 14th, 2019. A great run! (photo by ACVilla)
Meet Rosa, la Reina de las Pupusas de Salada Beach Café
The Salada Beach Cafe sign was "spruced-up" today. Pacifica's elements slowly degraded it over the past couple of years but it's back to its full glory welcoming everyone to our favorite place to meet over coffee and yummy food - check it out on your next visit! :)

Very good food, a place the locals go. Great cafe!
Very friendly atmosphere! Nothing fancy but you fell welcome food very good, for a small place.
The Bacardo is so good, and the pastries and fruit are fresh!
Outstanding food. Great ambience & company. Counter service has character
....... & some are skilled ;-). (Charlene needs to be in charge of training..)
My favorite coffee shop of all time. Their coffee is the absolute best and the food is always fresh and delicious!!! And the wonderful people who run the place have become my friends ❤️️
Loved this place. My son and I had a beautiful breakfast on the back patio complete with the solitary coffee sipping tattood Cali guy and his dog.
I've never been to Salada before and I'm punching myself for not knowing about this place soon enough. This could be my new go to breakfast and lunch cafe by the beach. I may not have the view of the ocean from their location but I feel like everyone who comes in there just did some good incredibly uplifting. Why is everyone here in such a friendly happy mood? It must be the super juice that they come here for or the tostada I had with my auntie Rube who tells me she drives in from SF just to eat her most favorite meal. I see why now. I highly recommend this place.
I had the waffle, basic breakfast, s/o Applewood bacon, large vanilla latte. The place is sorta like just going over to Grandma's for breakfast. Art on the walls, canned jellies, peppers, orange marmalade. Rick lives upstairs and Auntie owned the house next door.
Great beach cafe. Food was excellent, coffee and baked goods were really good. The prices are very reasonable considering the quality of the food. We will be regulars soon.
Best breakfast in Pacifica! I had the Bocado breakfast and wifey had brown rice breakfast bowl.
Best breakfast around town. Fluffy eggs, perfected bacon, devine coffee! Friendly dogs allowed on the back patio
Amazing charming place to eat and be with friends;) Near the beach if your coming for a day visit too
Always go here ..delicious! Good food, coffee and very clean.
One of my favorite place to eat. Latest back atmosphere and friendly staff and the owner can cook and bake his behind off!
Nice hangout for coffee and pastries at 830 in the morning. Hung out by the fireplace and couch area inside before first school bell at IBL.
Loved the down to earth atmosphere. Food is Delish. My favorite food is the meatloaf sandwich. !
Just good food in a friendly funky ( in a god way) setting.
Brunch with leisure. We came here for a brunch on a Sunday morning. Grandma how seems to run this place was happy and friendly. This place looks like a family business and attract local and nearby clients. Most of lunch on menu are Mexican and some Italian touch. They also serve varieties of coffees and, of course, mimosa. Good location. Very close to Pacifica Pier and beach. Great for weekend morning hanging out with friends and family.
Wow! Holy disappointment. Inconsistencies between boards and menus the apparent manager/owner refused to acknowledge. I was told to pay ASAP, or wait til I ordered. I said I’ll wait but he changed his mind and demanded payment. I was over charged by +$2.00 for a juice! To which he replied ‘Calm down okay’. If wasn’t waiting for someone I would’ve left then. Lucky me, the juice had ginger, which I’m allergic to. The description was orange, carrot, beet, etc, super. There was no written description of what that entailed and of course no apology for the lack of communication yet again. I had to walk to the counter, wait in line again, and order and pay. It was VERY confusing when I subbed a vegetable for dairy . They conveniently ‘forgot’ my mocha and I noticed when my food came first. Lack of professionalism, enthusiasm and knowledge in addition to intentional and unnecessary rudeness lead me to this negative review done waste your time or .
