Smooth friendly environment, accented with employee sincere smiles. Wouldn't allow me to operate the insane Willy-Wonka machine, but said I could return to observe them grinding, shredding, destroying, whatever it or who goes thru the contraption. Jeff Atkins took a pic of means while stupidly & in the danger-ZONE, fo-sho.

I'm a thrill junkie. That's right. Couldn't find any tiny little dots or hatches for Umpa-wumpas, but that's just the way they want it. Sneaky little mutant midges.

Santa Barbara is peaceful, but the quality luxury that is found in Santa Barbara, especially for visitors from out of town like our family, Santa Barbara Roasting Company defines the quality of the perfect life living near the sea on the ocean called State Street with the fine restaurants serving unique seafood dishes, authentic chocolate handcrafted right next door to the Roasting Company. How unique is that? What a special city Santa Barbara is. The mocha aromas filled with mint while showcasing surf boards on the wall with fresh baked pastries behind glass. The friendly atmosphere. We arrived from Las Vegas, Nevada. Las Vegas has many casinos, gambling destinations, slot machines, Thus those reading, relaxing, enjoying their baked pastries with light coffee, you must imagine how nice Santa Barbara is for us to visit driving in from the Mojave desert, especially coffee houses with such quality as your Santa Barbara Roasting Company. Less we forget to mention the shops only inches away from this coffee house - Maya Chocolate, Yoga Soup, D'Angelo's Bakery; Those places were simply one corner, one simple corner, of this seaside beach city. Santa Barbara is masterpiece.

My girlfriend and I, had gone in a few times before. The scent of roasting coffee is an amazing remedy to a long day. We both ordered the Chai Tea Latte with Almond milk and loved the perfection of its aroma and rich spice flavor. Absolutely delicious!!!

Had a cup of their coffee two years ago while in Santa Barbara on vacation and loved it so much we have it sent to our home in Oregon monthly. The low acidity in the French vanilla and Hazelnut is perfect for my sensitive stomach. We buy both and mix them for a delicious cup of coffee.

Courteous Staff, quick service. I bought a bag of peruvian at a really fair price and found out the difference between Single Source and Naturally Grown. For sure next time I might try the Sumatra NG. Meanwhile, I tried a free hot small cup from a selection of coffees available. I had the Dark Tropics blend, excellent. They have a big breezy comfortable place to enjoy and super-clean restrooms.

*edit* well maybe not SO dog friendly, as we were asked today to leave, because we were standing in line for coffee and a woman reached down for our dog without asking first. Our dog began to bark and we were told to leave. Different staff today, though. As we were invited Yesterday ro bring the dog inside.

The coffee is good. No doubt. However, i did walk away feeling swindled. If you’re going to sell a bottle of orange juice for 8 dollars, POST the price! Selling an outrageously overpriced 12 oz orange juice (same price as a 20 craft beer at Petco) and not being up front about it seems like a slimey trick.
