Food is really good service is mostly great server forgot the menu slightly so I'll give 4 stars.

The dates are great - not the typical overtly sweet ones you find at the market. Date shake is a bit pricey but the size is v large which makes it reasonable... a little too large. They use thrifty ice cream ❤️

Lunch had a nice presentation, and the walk around the grounds is always special. My guests enjoyed the products available in the store.

Great place to take out of town guests. Be sure not to miss the film "the romance and sex life of the date". Very informative about date cultivation and the history of date horticulture in the valley. Also they have FREE samples of a variety of dates! YUM!

Parents took us to sample and buy dates when I was small before World War 2. It's a treat now to order on line and get the quality products available. It's good to know 'this family company still strives for the best.

Several years in a row we have ordered honey dates... they always show up on time and ridiculously fresh. This is a tight family run business. Do not hesitate to check them out.

The date shake is a must have! Date crystals make it the best. And you can learn what it takes to grow dates- a lot more than I realized.

I've stopped here when driving Interstate 10 on many occasions. The long drive gives me time to think about how much I like their date shakes and fresh squeezed citrus juices. But especially their date shakes. They are worth a long drive.

I love bringing my family here, especially people who are visiting the area! It can be a little bit touristy (some of the items they sell are marketed towards tourists). However, they have a wide variety of date related goodies and other fresh foods that are delicious. If it's your first time over, you should try one of the date shakes.

Love coming here with our family. The shakes are wonderful and the people working our so kind. The fruit is fresh and quality. Highly recommend getting a date shake

The date selection is extensive and of the highest quality. I always pick up the bulk box when I am passing through town. The date shake makes a really sweet treat on a hot day.

One of my favorite places in the Coachella Valley. Delightful date shakes, all manner of tasty treats in the store, a cute cafe (great seasoned fries!) in the back with indoor and outdoor seating, beautiful grounds to walk through, a lovely small garden gift shop. Great for visiting guests, and for consistent local eats. :D

Huge variety of dates. And you can test them all prior to buying if you wish. Nice and not expensive restaurant in the back, suggest to dine in the yard. Once you dined you can have a tour in the plantation, we did not do that due to the rain. Imagine it!

My third time taking out of towners there in the last 8 years... the shop is starting to feel dated (no pun intended). The new back garden and pond area is a really nice development but they need to change up the selection of foods and products in the store.
