The food is delicious, there are so many choices and you can have it made just the way you want it! The staff is super friendly and outgoing. It was by far one of the best restaurants we ate at during our trip and definitely one we will go to again during another trip.
My sister and I had breakfast there for the first time. The place looked very clean with a modern vibe to it! Our waitress was very nice with a great disposition and an upbeat personality! The food was great and we will definitely go back again with the rest of our family!
This place is fantastic!!! Being out of town guests it's always odd going to new places. Everyone here was so nice!!! And the food was absolutely amazing! I wish we lived in California just to go here Every day for breakfast! Great for kids too! My 2 year old loved the blueberry pancakes!
This place is one of our family's Breakfast favorites. The staff always seem to be happy here which makes it a fun place to be as a customer. The food is creative, good and plentiful. The decor reminds me of something out of the Jetsons. My only complaint is that it seems to be a lot of family's favorite breakfast spot so be prepared to wait.
Went here for breakfast because a friend recommended it. I came with group of 6, including two toddlers. The staff was very accommodating. All the food ordered was good, better than average. The pancake was simply the best I ever had. The decor is modern, nice and very lively. Table or booth seating with plenty of space. No parking structure, so be prepared to street park. You might get lucky with a few parking spot right outside. Come in early or be ready to wait. It's worth the wait though!
Our wait this AM was only about one minute. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We did not wait long on our order even though the restaurant was busy. The food was delicious for both of us. Even though there was a considerable wait line as we finished, we were not rushed by the staff. What an incredible dining experience!
Amazing food! The pancake flights are a must. And the bartender was amazing. I do not remember her name. But she trained while bar tended while serving while being amazing!
Fun and Excellent. Fresh ingredients, staff is lively, smart and so friendly. We gushed about our server Kira to the manager & even the manager is awesome!
Have her a big hug too. Bill came to $27, we had the classic breakfast and the you-choose 3 pancake entree - perfect for 2 - also a cold brew coffee & a water. Only for suggestion's sake, I insisted we give $10 tip - always encourage excellence.
Enjoy! I know you will here. It was a 25 min wait, but worth every moment. =)
This is a very trendy place. So much so, that my family and I almost felt out of place. We also learned that this is the LGBT area of San Diego (being new to the city and all). It can be a little shocking if you aren't use to seeing same sex couples. It can also create a conversation with your kids that you weren't prepared to have. Anyways, the restaurant was very clean. The service was great. The atmosphere was 'fabulous'. The building has a neat design. The food was good. If I remember correctly though, breakfast for a family of 4 was like $70. That is a bit much. I would recommend and I we will go back.
It was super busy so expect to wait a while to be seated. Took a while for waiter to take our order too. Very busy. Food is good. Not sure if it is worth the wait. Better than most typical breakfast spots to be sure. Didn't love the hash browns. Wife liked her pancakes and French toast a lot. I enjoyed the two eggs Benedict's I ordered. One with prosciutto and one with smoked salmon.
Not worth it. Tried to get in 3 times and gave up after an hour. My last time I actually got to see food come out. It's just standard eggs, bacon, and French toast. Portion sizes are nothing spectacular. It honestly looks like something you can get at hundreds of other places around town and not have to waste half your day standing on the sidewalk. We went around the corner to fig tree and got in in 5 minutes. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else, even if it's not as "trendy".
I've been going to Snooze Since they opened. They have the best staff of any restaurant in Hillcrest. Their waiters work exceptionally well together and create an amazingly happy dining experience. I have tried all of their menu items and loved each one just the same. One of my favorite things about them is that they really do accommodate for dietary adjustments. They were one of the first places to offer gluten-free items. I was especially pleased to find out their wait staff actually knew what gluten was. Overall their my favorite breakfast place, but I wish they'd bring back their red velvet pancakes!
Super delicious! They let you get half order so you can try more food. Servers were really friendly and helpful. Prices are pretty good between $6-$13 per plate.
I work across the street. Yes sometimes it's busy, but the wait is worth it. The eggs Benedict is my favourite. The Reuben too. I'm a Brooklyn girl, so I love when someone can pull off a delicatessen quality meal. They will even supplement a few things if you're cutting back on your carbs.
