I had their boba and its pretty good! 7.29 good... for a large (20-24oz) honeydew milk tea w/ boba? No. There are plenty of other places to go for a way better price and the same or better quality. I can't justify giving this place a higher score than 3 stars because their price for a simple milk tea with boba is ridiculously expensive.
Don't get me wrong. Their drinks are great, the service is quick, the place is very clean. Its just way too expensive...considering that i can get cheaper boba in places that i would deem much more upper class than this place... And the quality isn't that far off.
Had been here a few times already! I'm not a fan of mixed tea with boba ( tapioca pearl)! If you're into drinking sweet flavored tea with a huge selection of toppings, then this is a place for you. Free wifi too!
A good place to get boba but sometimes, service isn't as expected. Especially when they have new trainees. This place is always clean and orders are done as quickly as possible so the wait normally doesn't take too long unless there's many indecisive people. A few of my fav snacks to try, sweet sugar bread and chicken wings with rice. Some favorite drinks, matcha snow ice, Jasmine green milk tea with rose (or without), milk tea with rose (or without), taro snow ice, Thai tea, strawberry custard, and mango snow ice. If you like tea over all, this would be the best place for you. 🙂
Best boba I've ever had. I'm told that they cook their boba hourly which, after trying overcooked boba from another joint (it expands, becomes soft and chewy and is unpleasant to eat), is a wonderful thing to know.
Despite the name they are actually a sit-down restaurant with a plethora of authentic Taiwanese appetizers, main dishes, desserts and drinks to offer. The interior decoration adds to the oriental feel and adds to the experience of visiting this location. The workers are courteous and attentive.
The only reason I don't give it 4 stars is because of the price. For example, I got a large honeydew frozen boba which is what, 22 oz, and that ran me at $7.25 after tax. $7 freaking 25! That's too dang expensive just for some flavored ice.
Plenty of parking upon arriving, it's a nice silent location too because of where exactly it is located, towards the back of the plaza.
Place is nice to let time slip by, environment is friendly. Magazines and games available, seating is around 50 or so, inside and outside (inside around 30, outside around 20). Prices are very high, be wary, I'm talking an large Oreo boba for $7. (Taste was alright, much left to be desired such as creaminess)
I think it's worthwhile to understand this is a high end studying place if that's a thing? Like a glorified tapioca express with less crowding. The food options are above average as they serve several dishes from noodles, rolls, etc.
With the amount of space they provide and environment, it's understandable why the menu is expensive.
Went few months back. Very nice service. Their boba not bad. I made a mistake on what I ordered and they remade it. Definitely go again if in the area.

Just my pet peeve.
Like when people can't park.
💪😐
Otherwise nice. Menu options are there such as snacks.
There are some times that this place does serve better quality food and drinks than the one in clairemont, simply because it's less crowded and less stress for the waiters. but only 4 stars because they still sometimes forget your drink.
Delicious tea and many flavors! Its not that good for such a crazy high price though. Milk tea, iced, with boba = $7.50...No thank you.
The drinks and food are really tasty and delicious. Drinks come out fast but the food takes a bit of time compared to the drinks. Be aware that the drinks are really sweet, even without sugar. Overall, it is a fantastic place.
